What keeps us from posting a lot here anyway?

What does it keeps you from posting more that the usual? If you're going to ask me; I have jobs. Althoug I can post topics like 5 topics or less but for this one; the best thing that I can describe as an excuse is being too busy on other tasks. Like lack of time. Topics are also holding me from posting a lot. There are choices of topics that I'm posting. I tries posting a lot but there are also topics that are not being answered or clarified as well. hahaha.. Call it fear of being neglected though. Tell me what keeps you in posting in facebooks of other sites as well as here in mylot. Tell me your thoughts about it.

Mostly it's topics. I'm the kind of person that only responds to topics that interest me, something I feel I know pretty much about at least or have a strong feeling about. This one would come under the something I feel strongly about. I know there are people that jusgt try to respond to as many as possible so they can make as much money as possible, but not me.

Same here. It would really depend on the topics. Sometimes, if I feel like I cannot say something to a certain topic, then I could not respond to it. It will also depend on my mood. There's one-time that I did not get to post here in mylot, not even one post because I was not feeling well, I was sleepy and I did not have anything on my mind. I'm really hoping that I can be like the others that can respond to more than 10 topics a day. Thank you for the space. God bless. :)

There are lots of potential reasons for me: -university -French course -job -we have a resort house in another part of the country, and when the weather's good I sometimes go there... and there's no internet there (not even mobile internet... I thnik the whole system hasn't been introduced to the certain area where the house sits yet...) -social life (friend time, theatre) -topics I'm not really familiar with (like foreign soaps I don't know about, baseball) or stuff I don't understand...

We keep posting posting a lot here for a two main reasons, money and entertainment. If not because of these two, I don't know what else and if without this two I don't think people won't bother giving effort just to participate in any discussions here.

What keeps me from posting new discussions is fresh ideas, there are tons of discussions here in mylot that sometimes the discussion i was just thinking of was already posted. But thee are also discussions that help or stimulate me to make a new one.

I have 2 kids and I do the house shores , so, I dont have enough time to write in mylot as I would like to. Also , the topics , I just write the topics I am interesting in , or that I had before similar experience, this way, I can write something good that will help others.

I agree with nagatron, at first I posted a comment just for fun when I notice that there's an increase in my mylot earnings then it drives me more to post in discussions like this, it's for fun also. Everything for me is for fun, if I don't like what I'm doing, I wouldn't bother a single second to do it. By the way I don't have a facebook or twitter account because I don't feel any sense spending time with it.

Here is my list that keeps me from posting more here at mylot. These have nothing to do with mylot. (1) My family when my daughters are home from college (2) House work and yard work being a single mother there are chores that have been done because no one else will do them. (3) just relaxing time which I do not get a lot of since I work two jobs during the week sometimes I putting in 70 hours per week. Three days they are back to back at day work by 6:30am not home till 12:00 midnight from my second job. (4) sometimes none of the questions inspire me to write back... that is me I do get burned out from time to time. I like my answers to be as fresh as they can be. (5) Lack of time sometimes so not allow me write long answers. Thanks Unique16

Time constraint is what keeps me away from here. As much as I'd like to be here all the time, I'm expected to live up to other responsibilities and commitments. I'd come here whenever I've any spare time; even if I'm not posting, I enjoy just reading discussions I find interesting.

Dear It's mostly what I like to do I find a topic about it and I post there.Sometimes it's the popularlteriy of the discussion and see how many comments are there and so on.I also find topics that relate to my hobbies and what I like to do.There are only certain topics I like to comment about and you could say I am picky about it.Other times However I choose discussions that don't have any comments to help the person out.

For me it's time. I work 8 hour shifts at my job. The number of days I work in a week varies, but those weeks where I work a lot, like this week, I don't get in as much computer time. I also take time at least 3x a week to go to the gym and exercise. Other things such as socializing, shopping, playing games on other sites, doing crafts and reading keep me from using the computer a lot. And let's not forget the most important thing, spending quality time with my husband. Topics never hold me back from posting as there are always so many to choose from I run out of time before I run out of topics.
