hi friends. half way through the tournament so lets see how the newly bought players are performing for their teams. pardon me if i am wrong but i am not sure how many are new buys and how many were just old but performing better. best buys seems to be rahane, shah, duplesis, sunil narain, cooper, steven smith, pieterson. worst buys seems to be dinesh karthik, perera, christian, levi, mishra, jayawardane. not a very comprehensive report.lol. the thing is its hard to choose the best and worst buy because players performed so much above and below par,it very tough but i would go with steven smith simply because he won more matches for his team and usually stands out. worst would be levi.showed a lot of promise but failing to live up to it. whats yours?

The best buy in this years IPL is for sure Rahane with his splendid form in this IPL and has been scoring runs from the start of the IPL 2012.He had scored 416 runs in 9 matches and he is running good to be the proud owner of the orange cap.The next person is du plesis and shaha as they have taken their team to wins and have scored well in this years IPL. The worsy buy in this years IPL is levi as he had not been able bat well, with the bat he has not scored well. With bat he had not been able to play in a single game in a better way as mostly he had scored single digit in IPL 2012.The next persons are Dinesh karthik and ravindra jadeja.Ravindra jadeja have played well in the first game and in the rest of the games he have not played well.

Rahane for me has been the best buy so far. He has repaid it with a huge amount of runs so far. On the other hand, one of the duds for me is the top money getter this season, Ravindra Jadeja. He has had one good game for the CSK and nothing more beyond that. Cheers! Ram

Hi Star, I think most of the team's owners made a big mistake by investing too much money on players who were good for only one day.If you take Chennai Super Kings, they put their whole money on nearly waste Jadeja. His fielding has been good but not batting and bowling.I would probably say that Kevin Cooper of Rajasthan Royals was the best buy in this year's auction. He amazed everyone on his debut. His bowling has been pretty decent. He is also a strong hitter of the ball. The best buy is Cooper and the worst buy is Jadeja.

I think the best buy is rahane and duplesis. Both the players are doing wonderful job for there team and both were not so big names before this IPL. The worst buy is jadeja for CSK. they spent lot of amount( all the amount during this year auction) for him and he performed in a single game and was a failure after that.
