Hi! Could someone explain me how to change my browser settings to download files directly to CD? I use Firefox. I'm scrapbook maniac and buy a kits often. But my computer memory is too low now. Is it possible to download it and save directly to CD?

Downloading directly to a cd - i've never found instructions that accomplish that in a working manner. I myself would actually get an external hard drive or some of the smaller cheap memory sticks and save the files to them.

I have doubts because i know that with many files they download in pieces not always in order (like in utorrent - if you watch the files there will part 1 of a file then part 10 and then part 5...for the files that list parts)... Depending on your internet speed one might end up taking hours to burn a disc if it works.

It is not possible to save the downloading file directly into cd. Fist you need to download them any of the local disk and then only you are abld to copy it into a cd.

hello belaaa, i think that's not possible.. all downloaded files would always go to 'downloads' folder in My Documents.. What I could suggest to you is that you need to transfer some files you have in your computer to a flashdrive or USB, by doing that you could freed your PC's memory so that you could save your newly downloaded files.. and if you have new downloaded files and you want it to store in a CD, insert a blank CD, find your newly downloaded files in my documents, copy or send it to your CD.. just feel free to comment if you still have anything to clarify.. i'm willing to help :))

In a simple word: you can't. Anyway, one CD can contain up to 700 MB. Can't you make 700 MB space on your hard disk drive instead? Or simply back up your current data on hard disk and start downloading. (only if you can't afford to buy some external hard disk drive or such). Just make space.

You cannot do this. By reading the comments here, you should take note of the following: you must just try to buy a external hard drive to put your downloaded files or even just flash drives then burn them into discs ;in addition, you can actually change downloads folder to disc drive but it will not automatically burn into it, it will still occupy space from your hard disc before it will be burn. :) one good thing is to have a new hard drive which has a bigger space or just an external hard drive which is cheaper and better because it is portable.
