The philippines is known for Chicken Adobo. But i admit i am not good in cooking this chicken adobo. it is a delicious menu but it is hard for me to do it right. that is why i don't attempt to cook it right any more. i don't enjoy the way i cook it. but i have tasted a good tasting chicken adobo before although i don't remember who cooked or prepared it. although the recipe is just simple and i got to follow the same recipe but i just can't get the taste right.

Hiya HS, Actually I do in a way and in another I don´t because I don´t follow the right recipes ever. The Recipes they give me are always another version of the original one so I follow that one instead or just do the Recipe my own way which is often more fun. So I would not fret about not being able to cook the Chicken adobo. Maybe one Day you can get around to cooking it and you will find you can sort of cook it almost like it should be. That has happened to me. For example Shepherds Pie is an English Dish but I don´t have any Gravy here or stock Cubes like Oxo so I do my own version and they love it just as much see what I mean?.xxx

chicken viand - called chicken adobo
Hello Hotsummer, Well, I don't even know how to cook the damn viand, but i have tasted this so many times already and it had different taste coming from different cooks. you can always rely on the cook book for better results, that's where my mom is obviously good at if she wants to cook for something.maybe you should have others taste it, and make sure it's not the Chef. Have a nice day.

That`s bad i think you need to move in another country where the traditional food is french fries or boiled eggs or something.

Hmm..., what would be known here? BBQ! Yes, I think most of us here would know how to have a good barbie... It just suits most people's lifestyle here; laid back, easy going, relax surfer attitudes, and most also enjoy fishing...

I can make dishes my country is known for as long as they are meat free. Since I'm vegetarian and many Hungarian dishes like goulasch are made of meat, I'm not sure they will taste how they are supposed to if I make them. I don't have so much experience in making them. But I can make many kinds of pastries, salads and desserts, crepes, cakes which are well known but probably not world wide.

Well I'm not really a good cook yet... at all. I can do basic stuff (pasta, pancakes etc.), but specialties... no, not yet, like goulasch for example (I'm talking about Hungary)... but I can do a version of the dessert spongecake Somlói style, but that's a pretty easy one-but I don't do the original version, or I don't even know which one is that because everyone is arguing about it.
