Pick Up Line Laughs

I know there are a lot of jokes about pick up lines that are used in bars etc., and to be honest I find some of them very funny. I was reading a book last night QUIRKOLOGY by Dr. Richard Wiseman and ended up laughing out on one of the sections where he was walking about pick-up lines. Actually a lot of them I had heard before but there were a couple he mentioned that were new to me. One of them was "I'm not Fred Flinstone but I bet I can make your Bed Rock". For some reason that really struck my funny bone. Do you have a favourite funny pick-up line? Do you use pick-up lines yourself? Better yet, have you ever been slapped when you used one? Some of them are just so corny and unbelievably silly, you can't help but laugh. I've never heard the flinstone one, but that is pretty darn funny!
I've only heard a few used on me (they didn't work, but I graciously didn't slap anyone who used them), "Did if hurt? When you fell from heaven?" and "Are you tired? Cause you've been running around my mind all day."

Sometimes the pick up lines are just so corny that all you can do is laugh and think that guys might use corny pick up lines just for that reason. I heard this one on Monday and it made me laugh. Guy:"Excuse me there is something wrong with my phone" Girl:"What's wrong with it" Guy:" your number is not in it". :D

Maybe they think they've succeeded in some small way if they can get you to laugh? It's a nice thought. That's a real funny one!

Or how about "I lost my phone number, can I have yours?" And don't forget the Redneck pick-up lines as well. "Did you just fart? Cause you just blew me away!
Maybe you guys are right about trying to get a girl to laugh because they sure don't work as for picking them up! Most women just roll their eyes and walk away.
