I was promoted to become permanent employee by the boss. And because of that I have to move to other division at the office. I am actually happy because of being promoted and become permanent employee without a test. But in my heart There is a sense of disappointment, Because i have to move to other division, I have considered that the division where i was before was my second home, and everyone there are family. If I persist, the boss won't give me a chance to become permanent employee. Do mylotter have experienced this kind of situation? share with me please..

I feel the same way. When I started on my lot, I even went as far as figuring out how many posts I could do in a day so I could reach minimum pay out. I've been hee for two years and I still haven't reached half of the minimum pay out. But not because I didn't try but because I'm no longer after the payment. I didn't find it a necessity as I did before, and in fact it's one of my hobbies or past times. The only thing that keeps me going is the thought of having something to share ideas with. When I'm alone, bored or out of things to do, I visit myLot and start responding to discussions, never mind if they're three years old! I like sharing my thoughts, and more importantly reading other people's thoughts. It's cool to see how people either have the same feeling about something, or how people have an entirely different perception of things. Your mind gets opened to other possibilities about a certain topic, and your own knowledge is enhanced. This is what I love most about myLot. And how you discuss anything under the sun and receive insightful and very relevant responses. I hope myLot doesn't go out of business. They truly rawk at putting this up!

Always remember that God has a special plan for all of us. He always wants us to become better in life. Being pro?oted as a permanent employee has a lot of perks. For one thing you have continuous employment, something a lot of people can't even find. Another thing, although you have been transferred, you're still in the same company: somehow you have already made your mark and getting to know people won't be all that hard. You're already part of the company. Third, this might be the next step to being promoted to a higher position. You will be a supervisor before you know it, something not a lot of people even consider because they can't even find a decent job. I felt the same way when I was promoted as a supervisor. I'm not actually the supervisor type of employee. I just like having someone lead me and set the ground rules to follow. But of course I learned to like my job. For one thing, I got higher pay. Another thing, I don't get as worked out as my subordinates do. Of course I already have my work cut out for me. Also, I get to choose when my rest days are, I can rest whenever I choose to, and I don't have to worry about going on leave as most employees do. All in all it's given me the necessary experience for whenever I plan to transfer to another company. Hopefully I can use it to my advantage. Good luck and more congratulations!

Hello douiya, congratulations on your promotion! Don't have to be sad about moving to another division, I believe you can still keep in touch with your previous division. I experienced this before. This is life; sometimes we have to let go of something to move on - give and take.

Hello douiya, congratulations on your promotion. I have experienced that kind of situation before. I was promoted to become a supervisor however they transferred me to a different department. At first I was sad about it but since promotion is important to me, I decided to give it a shot. Luckily the new department was just like my previous one where everyone treated each other like a family. I guess in situation like this, our adaptability is being test. I suggest that you embrace change for all its worth because who knows, the new division you are going to transferred to will be as good as the old one.

Hello douiya! I don't think you should feel that way. You should be happy that you have been promoted. Not everybody is being given that chance. If you were able to get close to your colleagues in the previous division, for sure you will be able to get along well with the new colleagues in the new division. We should learn to cope with the changes that we might be experiencing in our life.

Hi douiya, Good job on your promotion. It is perfectly normal to be sad when you are in the midst of change. I share the same experience. I got promoted in exchange of leaving my friends to that division. When transition is so swift, we may have the separation anxiety which is a usual response to any changes. Give yourself time to adjust and make friends with your new co-workers. Good luck and pray.

Congrats! I sorta feel the same way about my job, but in a different way. I'm in a position that isn't permanent and right now doesn't look like it will be for awhile... but there's still a chance. I love my job and would love a more permanent position but I would miss the freedom I have right now and the possibility of other great opportunities. I don't know if I'm ready yet to give up on those great opportunities. I think in the end you will find that a promotion will be the right thing. You will come to like your new co-workers just like the ones you have now.
