Odie came home from vacation with fleas.

Poor Odie, when I went to the big city last weekend I dog sit Odie to my friend who invited me to be with their house.
Then I got him only yesterday, I already grope her skin that is quite swollen and I notice that his hair has lots of fallen. When I examine wallah 
I saw so tiny fleas are in his cote. He has an allergic reaction to fleas when he had this his skin have small reddish scabs. 
The worst part is his long hair wilted so strong.
I hurriedly use tweezers to remove the tiny fleas and put it on a alcohol. And put some antiseptic on his skin after his bath with fleas shampoo. I hope I get rid of the fleas to make him feel better. I plan to take his bath every other day so that the fleas will get rid away fast.

Yhea I do have here a shampoo and a powder. i never thought it will happened to him again ever since he is a puppy it's my problem to him I tried too many shampoo and soap for his allergy and finally only this year one of my friend recommend this kind of shampoo that is fit to him.

you can also try to add lemon or lime with the shampoo, that makes the fleas jump off easily.

Sad to know that your dog got fleas and allergy because of it.
I hope you can totally get rid of his fleas sooner and so he could feel better sooner too. There are also dog powder in the market made to get rid of those fleas, it might work for him.

you can give him a medicated bath once a month for this or you can try dr. kauffman soap instead of dog flea soap.
by the way put the fleas on a jar with gas that will be better.

Poor doggy! Don't blame your friend though for the flea infestation. Fleas are extroadrinarly high this year all around as well as other bugs and pollen because of the unusually hot winter we had this year. Sounds like you are on the way to having him cured in no time though!

I don't blame anyone about his fleas the weather is so hot here in my country, when I moved here in my new house I already have no problem with his fleas only his allergy just because of fleas he got from my friends house.

I'd say a few baths and a flea collar should help. I'm fortunate to of not had to deal with fleas on my dog yet.

I'm not too worried about the fleas I can get it control fast, I'm more worried about his skin allergy and the falling hair.

im a bit confused. Odie is your dog? or is it friends dog? Iam glad that you are taking care of the flea problem. i hope coco never gets them again. she dont usually get them here in AZ but in florida with the humidity, etc. poor girl had them all the time till i got a pill you give them once a month and that got rid of them and kept them off

Odie is my dog I went to my grandson birthday at the City that's why I left him to my bestfriend house where he got his fleas. He always had this allergy whenever he has fleas but I already get rid of these because I already found the best shampoo that suited for him. Only his hair are strongly falling.

wow that is terrible that he got fleas, i hope that you were able to get them all out of his fur, and he will not suffer any with his allergic reaction, we use a packet of flea medication we get ot walmart you just squeeze and run it over there backs and in there fur it keeps fleas from gettin on our dog we have not seen one since we started using it we do it once a month.. and there fairly cheap. i think there called flea drops.. maybe you should use one of those after u get done bathing odie...just a suggestion, :)

I also tried that one when he is only one year old but it's too expensive here in my country those pet products. I already find his suitable shampoo for him that really effective on his skin type. I already bath him the last day and yesterday and I already get rid of fleas only main problem now is the falling hair that caused of the allergies.
