I just got home and sitting at my parents until this afternoon when I go back to pet sitting around 2pm or 3pm. Im sitting in the backyard enjoying the sun, and the birds chirping while online. This irritating music comes blaring by and of course its the ice cream truck. I see kids running for it, and I couldnt help but laugh. I did once or twice get ice cream and I was sick from it so I dont bother anymore. There was about 20 kids chasing it down the street. I remember a few years ago the man who runs it was chaarges with cocaine possession, and selling drugs. Years ago now, I went out with my younger brother and the guy told me he would give me free ice cream if I met him down the street for fun. Which I must say I havent been back since and he creeps me out. But I wonder how many others he has tried this on. I would never let my kids go near this man, and my friend lets her kids saying oh Im just exaggerating.

I can remember as a kid hearing that...but never being able to get one! So when my grand daughter was 2...she got her first ice cream off the ice cream truck...it was a push up! She loved them and every day she was at my house (mon-thur) she'd hear that music and holler and run to the door, "come on!!!" etc things she'd say to get me out there "in time". She later liked the ones of the cartoon charaters...Tweety being her favorite, but they had spiderman, bugs bunny, but Twetty was her fav. Oh for the good old days! I still hear one every now and then..once a week maybe and have fond memories of that little jingle. Thing was tho..the trucks played the dumbest songs! The theme from The Sting movie...what little kid knows that?!?! "Comin'Round the Mountain" was another... Never did they play a silly kids song!

Greepy! Hopefully no children will be defiled by this person. How did he get a job working with kids? Is he flying below the radar? The ice cream man use to be someone you could trust, he was even respected because of the joy he brought to others; my how times have changed.
