What are the chances of getting viruses from doing tasks?

There is always a risk that, whenever a site allows people to post URLs, someone will post one which is dangerous. MyLot's administration is pretty good but they don't (as far as I know) check every task before it is posted because that would require an enormous amount of time and staff involvement. The same can be said of many (but not all) task sites. It is difficult to assess the risks but it would certainly be dangerous to assume that they are negligible. It is everyone's responsibility to take care of their own safety when using the Internet. It is therefore very important for everyone to have a good, up-to-date anti-malware and firewall system on their computer. Depending on any site to be absolutely secure would be like living in cloud-cuckoo land! You simply cannot expect to live in a "nanny state" where every site is absolutely responsible and accountable for YOUR safety!

HI Ambergage, I have been a Mylotter for as long as i cant remember when (probably 3 years ago) i never had any virus attack whatever from mylot, Its totally safe here, even the task, i have done almost a hundred and i never had any problem. Welcome yo My Lot

As long as you don`t download anything the chances are low.If you have a good antivirus the chances are near zero.
