Do you like to go on an exciting adventure overseas to a different country? Which sorts of things do you do when you are on a vacation. I like exploring by walking around, swimming in the sea, climbing up hills to see views and seeing wildlife. I am keen on visiting other countries. One person that is quite an adventurer is called Nial and he is traveling over land and sea. He came through Iran over to Dubai. He failed to find a ferry over to India. He funnily enough had to go one way on a cruise ship. He traveled through India and is now staying a few months in Nepal. Where do you imagine he might go next on his adventure if you were advising him. Remember he only goes overland and oversea. Hr does travel by plane.

Adventures have to do with age, health and money. When my brother was barely a teenager, he went to climb the mountains so near Santiago where I live. They campe there, took nuts and chocolate for fuel and sometimes they stayed more days and made their own icky food. I have camped in Europe and in Chile, my country. Brasil and the United States are other countries where I have been taken to see other views by climbieng and walking. If you want to find nature, there is still some everywhere. I´d tell Nial to go to the Iguazú falls. It´s a must.

Hello my dear friend. I loved hearing about your brother's camping in the mountains close to Santiago. It is lovely that you have camped in Europe and I did try that in Croatia. In Western Australia I had an exciting day of climbing, walking and kayaking. Yes, I adored it in Iguazu Falls and will suggest Nial goes there later on his trip. I found the waterfalls the most beautiful sight ever. Wow! Hug.

Adventures don't always have to be far away. my brother and my boyfriend have taken to adventuring to towns 4-5 hours away that they have never heard of before. Finding things to do before they go. Like The Unclaimed Baggage Center or a museum it's entertainment for a weekend get away :)

You are completely right saying that adventures don't always have to be far away. I love visiting a place that I haven't been to before. Last year I had a day out to a place new for me each month in the warmer months of the year from March to October. It was a fantastic adventure for me and my kids.

I do like to explore abroad, but the problem at the moment is that I just cannot afford to do so, so I tend to be stuck at home just thinking about where I would like to go next. I think that the best thing for him to do would have a look at his local airport and see which flights are available, and how much they cost. From there, he should be able to find somewhere that he has never been to before, and this would be a good thing for him to try because we should always be looking to try new things in life as we need to have adventures every now and again!

Good luck with saving some more money. I believe when stuck at home with limited finances being an armchair traveler is the way to go. I am so excited about Nial's adventure and know he is having a very exciting time.

I love traveling and as travel writer I have traveled to too many places with my lappy and cameras. In case your friend is in Nepal now and willing to go to some other places I would suggest him to go to either China or to Japan. He can go to Singapore or Thailand as well.

It is fascinating that you work as a travel writer. It is great you take your laptop and cameras with you. You have some superb suggestions of where he can go next.

I live in the States and I think it would be wonderful to be able to visit another country. Some of the places I would love to visit would be Egypt, Ireland, and Sweden. In due time I do hope I am able to travel to these wonderful places. Your friend Nial seem like a very interesting person. I would like to know as well where he intends to go next. Where do you think he will go?

I am hoping that Nial will visit Sri Lanka next but he is not sure where to go yet.I hope that you will be able to visit beautiful and interesting Egypt. It has historical sights, beaches and the River Nile. Ireland and Sweden would be easily combined together on a trip.

Nepal sounds like such an amazing and diverse country that Nial could stay there for many months. When I travel I like to just walk and look about me. I am not a fan of cities, but it by far the best way to get a flavour of them.

An adventure…Well I have always wanted to go on a safari but It may be a little scary and I probably would not be fit enough to participate…I guess I would like to go somewhere spiritual like Egypt or Tibet. My husband visited a little of Shanghai in China when he was sent there on business and he liked it; I would love to go to China on an extensive visit…Fascinating place so much culture from so long ago…

A trip to another country is always an exciting adventure It is really interesting to explore a new place and I am always extremely happy when I have the chance to travel. I like to visit the famous places as well as some of the small and unknown places where are few tourists. When I visit a city I like to walk around and look at the streets and houses because I am interested in art and architechture. I like to take a lot of picture of the places that I visit. I like to visit some of the local museums and art galleries. I like to climb the towers if it possible and enjoy the view from the top of the building. I also like to visit beautiful places with lakes or mountains, and love to visit small and peaceful islands. If I were in Nial's situation I would try to get a visa to China and visit China after Nepal. While I was in China I would catch a ferry to Taiwan and spend some days there. After that I would return China and travel from China to Vietnam. After Vietnam I would visit Cambodia, Thailand, Malaysia and Indonesia. It would be possible to do that without travelling by plane.

I do love to travel though I am not still given the chance to travel to other countries thus I am only travelling in our country, Philippines. However, it is in my travel list to go to other countries such as Cambodia. And if Nial is at Nepal now, I think he might continue his adventure at the Kingdom of Cambodia, coz I've heard Cambodia also has many places to be explored and experienced much adventure.

I always think of travel as an adventure. Exploring a new destination (especially if you don't speak the language) is an exciting experience. Even in cities that are highly urban and sophisticated, travel can turn out to be quite an adventure. But if you're referring to more physical adventure like hiking or swimming, then I have gone to only a few of those. I remember going to a Batad which is a very small town in the Mountain Province. We had to hike for about 2 hours just to get to the town and it was a rather steep hike down. We were a bit scared because the trails were sometimes too steep and we were literally a few feet away from falling down a ravine! But when we arrived at the town we were reminded by a majestic view of rice terraces carved into the side of the mountain -very, very beautiful. After that we proceeded to hike to a nearby waterfall and we actually passed through the the rice terraces. The next day we went to another town called Sagada where we went spelunking (but very very very easy cave). This is perhaps the biggest physically adventurous travel I have done. But travel adventure also comes in many different forms (like discovering how a city's train ticketing works when you don't know the language) and I enjoy these as well.

Hi Maxine, It is interesting to travel by walking, swimming in the sea and climbing up hills. Seeing wild life is a great experience. In India there are some reserve forests where riding on the elephants one can enjoy nature and wild life. Nepal is a ideal place to see mountains and climbing on the peaks. Nepal is a suitable place to travel for the Europeans. Because there weather is cool.

I do like going to an adventure. I love going to far places. And all of them really fascinate me. I can advice he can go to the Philippines where the Puerto Princessa Underground River in Palawan is located. There are so many great adventures and so many great places there. Its more fun in the Philippines. :)
