I Saw the Future of "gLee" in "Saved by the Bell: The College Years" -- You?

We all know that tonight is the season-finale for the graduation of many of the young singers we've come to love on FOX's "gLee". I was thinking about that the other afternoon when I flipped-on the TV and saw VH1-Classic playing "Saved by the Bell: The College Years." I hadn't thought of it before, but "gLee" is sort of '"Saved by the Bell" for the glee-geeks (rather than the clique-geeks).' So naturally (if "gLee" doesn't stay with 'Mr. Schuester at McKinley High-School'), "Saved by the Bell: The College Years" is sort of a preview of the upcoming seasons (if there are any) of "gLee." Either "Saved by the Bell: The College Years," or "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" in the years after high-school graduation (when she did SOME college, but really went back to her old high-school to be a 'counselor'). Actually--with FOX's production quality--it'll probably be closer to a kind of hybrid between the two: issues as 'serious' as "Saved by the Bell" in a "Buffy" shade. What popular American TV-shows have you noticed following each other in pattern like that?
