I am going for further treatment.

I am going for further treatment. My elder son will reach here on 27th night of May; from Hyderabad and we will proceed on 28th morning, will return on 30th night; I have bought reserved tickets for Air-conditioned compartment; the onward and return journey; if one doesn’t buy in advance, he can’t move Let me tell you, as per government policy, the health department runs allopathic, homoeopathy and Ayurvedic hospitals in district block level in each state; but it is really surprising to learn that most of the homoeopathy and ayurvedic hospitals have neither doctors nor medicines. Most doctors who passed out as homoeopathy and herbal doctors run private clinics in the town, villages but they prescribe allopathic medicines, push injections. There are 4 such in my city; I asked one of them; he said people want immediate relief; so they come for injections and pills, capsules. I have finalized appointment with 3 renowned diabetes specialists of my state and one who specializes in Natural cure. During my stay I will be meeting my classmates, Professor Colleagues and students, ex-students and some ‘mylot’ friends. IT WILL BE KIND OF REUNION TOO. Do you plan your important journeys and buy tickets in advance? Please share your experience and comment on this. Thanks in advance. Prof.Dr. B.Saraf. PhD 24th May 2012.

If or when we fly we have to buy tickets in advance for trips. We much prefer to drive, however. I would love to try train service once, but for us, it is much more economical to drive, and we have a vehicle that is comfortable and air conditioned. When we travel soon to see our daughter we will also meet up with a friend we met on MyLot who lives in the area. I think it is true of almost all people. They want relief from symptoms fast so rather than treat the underlying diseases they ask for pills and injections that take care of all the symptoms, but leave the underlying cause. Be well, Professor friend.

Professor, my given name is Heather--it is an English flower. I use Garden Gerty for all of my online postings, though.

Dear Bhuwan, Ihope that you find the healment you seek where you are going. I have heard of pills (or shots) plus diets for diabetes, but it not always stop neuropathies.. I´m dealing with my own health problems. Each days brings a new small problem and I don´t know it it´s all part of the same big one. I suppose we must accept that we are not immortals although one is always wanting to die peafully with no pain at all in our sleep. That´s a child´s fairytale, I suppose. Take care! I´m glad your son is taking you.

Take care, friend. I hope that your trip proves succesful. I loved your post about your youth and the changes we have seen where we live. I´ll answer that post slowly. I cannot imagine the heat you are having. The most we get is around 33 to 36ºC in Summer but just for a few days and a few hours each day.

First of all let me wish you a speedy recovery. You are soon going to be alright and back to normal. This is just a passing phase and the doctors would say there is nothing wrong with you except the usual complaint. Regarding travel, with internet booking done by one and all and the major portion being blocked , if we don't plan our trips and buy tickets well in advance, getting reserved tickets really becomes a problem.

Hoping for the good result... I do plan , it is very important because I hate delays and disruptions though sometimes it is inevitable. Planning is necessary because I think of approximate budget for the activity. :)
