I have been going interviews to get a regular job better than my market research job, and I got one today asking me to go to work on Monday. The place is ok but after coming back at home today, I just thought maybe the office work is not my type anymore, I have been doing telephone sales job for 6 years, I almost adjust to the daily pressure and target, but I can't adjust to a fixed routine everyday for the office work? I feel I want to refused the job now, as I see only flexibility is the way to go.

Oh sometimes we do things, sometimes we get ourselves into some situations like this and do something but then... well we are all entitled to what we want and it is normal, if you ask me to want changes or to change our minds. especially if we are not sure or something bothers us...

Hi wongchoiyee, maybe you are indeed caught up by many factors, and it happens... things and experiences and even situations we are in often gets in the way of our decisions and it almost always bothers our mind and confuses us as to what we want, and what needs to be done. You just need to take time, really and have a moment of your own and reflect and actually just try to understand the situation, everything there is that is in front of you. be logical and do not let your emotions get in the way of your judgement. Everything will fall into place...

Maybe if you tried out his job and worked at this place for 3-4 days to get an idea of how things work there and how you like or dislike it then your confusion will go away and you will be better able to decide which kind of job you prefer more...But, good luck with whatever you decide to do in the end.

Why don't you just wait for Monday, give it a week, see if you would like it there. But if you think that it really isn't for you, just be responsible and call that company. Tell them you couldn't make it and you just couldn't report on MOnday.
But can i ask what you have in mind? I mean if you're not gonna do that job what will you do?

I am going to call her tomorrow, but I am just thinking if I work there, will it be better than previous company? I would not know if I don't try. So I am going to figure out tonight. Thanks toniganzon, how is your son's leg now?

hi wongchoiyee, I don't know what your situtation is as far as
needing a job, but perhaps you should jus give it a try for a
while or at least until you can get something more your liking.
Thats if you are in need for a job, but if you have the luxury
of pick and choosing a job...then most definately don't take some
thing that you know thats not going to make you happy....

It is difficult to change the type of work.It means you should give up old one and get a new one.It also means you should change your life style.At the same time,it seems that you maybe get a new start.Who will think it is a wrong starting ? If you want ,you could have it a try ,it maybe a new start of life.

The problem is that even I work there, it could not be long term because I always change job.
