I really do like receiving letters in the mail.It brings such a great feeling knowing someone took the time to write me a letter. I use to have a penpal when I was younger. And I have recently made new snail mail pals. Do you enjoy writing and receiving letters? With the technology available today it is convenient to send an email, text, or other electronic ways of contacting people. But I appreciate a good hand written letter every now and then.

Naah.. i dont have any penpals but would love to have one in the near future. i have heard about penpals quite often and that people do write to each other even if they belonged to two different countries.

Yeah. Having a penpal is pretty neat. I'm hoping to have a penpal from greece, and other countries. I think it will be an encouraging time in my life to develop more friendships. It is nice when we have good friends in our life.

I had penpals before when I was in my younger age coming from different countries. But they were all gone when I moved in other place. Yeah there is really a big difference when you can received a hand written letters.I love writings and receiving letters as well there is really an excitement on it compared when you received only from emails or text.

I had a lot of snail mail penpals when I was younger. In the beginning I only had penpals from my own country, but when I became a teenager I started writing to people from other countries. I had many penpals from Europe and I had penpals from Asia, Africa, South America and Central America. We didn't write each other that often, maybe once a month or less than that, but it was always a great feeling to find a letter from a friend in the mailbox I sent them photos, postcards and small souvenirs from my country and I also received parcels from them. I still keep some of those letters that I received in the past. Today I don't write snail mail letter anymore, I have mailfriends, but don't I send and receive handwritten letters. I sometimes it miss it and I have thought about finding a snail mail penpal again.

I had for years, wrote long letters, but seldom got any (long) letter back. Now I nearly daily email with some people I met, but also a part of them I see weekly or so. Via mylot I did respond on someone who wanted penpals as well. Well after she contacted me she wrote me only twice and said she is busy. That is not what I call a penpal also I don't want to waste my time with people like that. I do wonder why she asked for a penpal if she is that busy.

I have a penpal myself. Funnily enough one of her letters came through the post today. I love receiving letters because it gives me the feeling that someone actually wants to talk to me. I dont mind the electronic ways of receiving messages but i dont get the same feeling as a letter. Blessed you be
