I just opened 3 cases.

Goodness, some people are SO FRUSTRATING! On the 13th, 3 of my items "sold" to these very low-feedback users. They each had less than 5 feedback scores, and some of them had 100% feedback and some had 0%. I should have known. So here I am, on the 31st, wondering why the heck I hadn't received payments when the items were sold on 5/13. I sent a few messages, sent invoices, and finally I have given up and started an unpaid item case with eBay, so I don't get charged the final evaluation fee by eBay for something I didn't even receive money for. Gah, how frustrating! I am convinced these folks are scammers. But who on earth would send them anything without receiving payment first? Anyway, I just changed my preferences so that no one with a feedback score of under 10 can bid on anything that I put on. It's kind of sad to stereotype: what if this person was new at eBay and really wanted my item? But this is like the 4th time this has happened... Gah. Just a total waste of time if you ask me. It's too bad too, because one of my pairs of jeans got up to $30 in bids. I'm waiting for the cases to end (I think they last 3-4 days) so I can put it back up and hopefully get a REAL bidder this time! Have you ever had to open a case with eBay over something like this? Do you have your settings set to "only people with (insert number here) feedback can bid on your stuff"?

when i had a problem like that, i was told that some people bid without any intention of ever paying. i guess they bid for the thrill of bidding. which is stupid because it is such a waste of time for everybody involved.
