How world leaders can minimize the impact of economic slowdown?

World economy is still facing slowdown in the market. It is time for our political leader to play vital role for minimizing its impact for the welfare of common man. Please give suggestions what should be done?

It seems to me government is what gets in the way.. they want ever more and more money to be able to bestow benefits on whom they want, which takes more and more money out of the world economy..
