Grandma steals Doctor's Bag..

old crook - something sad..
Philippines

Hello Lotters, We are all aware that most of the time those criminals who commit crimes are mostly middle aged adults or teen agers. I don't know about you but it shocked me, that even an old lady would be part of such. To think that we were taught to respect the elders and unfortunately one of them is part of a syndicate. What she did was pretend to be a patient and sees the doctor's bag, but before that she signal some who happens to be an accomplice. With out Looking, she took the bag, but the CCTV saw the WHOLE thing. It's sad that you really can't trust any body now a days. even the OLD. how saddened by this.... we all have to watch out for our Belongings. reminds me of an old man who took my 20php bill when it fell from my pocket and wasn't totally aware of it.

Age has nothing to do with respectability. People should be respected because they are people, not because of their age. Some of the worst criminals are not young at all.I guess that, if young criminals are not caught, they turn into middle aged and old criminals. !

I agree that young people have to respect their elders, but it is also important that they deserve the respect. I feel that respect has to do more with taking care of the old people if they cannot do it by themselves. Or, if they are younger than that, they can teach wisdom to the next generation. But this lady, old or young, is a thief and should have some punishment.

Hello Marguicha, Well, this has somethind to do with our tradition here in regards to giving a huge respect to elders. i don't know the story of that old lady but she made a terrible choice and she was spotted on cam. even the former Comelec Chairman is actually trying to tell us that he should be allowed to post bail since HE's OLD!

dear LK, This is one good example of my previous topic "why I don't respect old people" (not everyone of course) But, there are reasons why I lost respect with old people. I was taught to respect the old and young- age is not an issue when it comes to respect- not the status either. It is how people show if they are respectable enough to be respected. These days, sometimes old people are not a good example to follow:xxx

People should be respected because they are people, not because of their age. And some people are thiefs and don`t deserve our respect as acceptance of their ways. Some old people are even killers (check the age of many of this world`s dictators). Age has nothing to do with respectability.

Hello Jai-sis, So it's like you're saying that People need to earn respect even though the person is old? i get your point there. well, my grandma isn't a crook compare to that one. but unfortunately i just hate her being strict and too religious and not to mention her not liking animals in our house here like cats. but you know, it's our choice how we respect others.

Hello winterose, Usually most events that take place would actually be old men. there was even a story long ago that two female teenagers were gang raped by eight men and most of them were OLD. but this is probably the first time ive seen an old lady do a crime like that in the hospital. we are careful now.

Yeah it is such disappointing that old people are being used for crimes already. I think there was some fault in where the nurse's station is placed. It should be placed not beside the main door since it would indeed be prone to theft since the other side of the nurse's station is open and many people do come and go and could even sit on the nurses station.

Too bad that even syndicates victimized senior citizen for their group and there are senior citizens that grabs this opportunity to earn a living. It is actually a give and take situation.

Hello Rsa101, I also believe she is being used by syndicate for some reason. Simply because she can't do that while others can also look at her, with out that accomplice, they would have busted her.even if they do arrest her, who ever this gang is, the people would have eventually find some one else to use since there's a lot of people out there who is in poverty.

Hello Mimiang, i feel sad about you're colleague's situation. what happen to that patient-turned crook btw?? sometimes i understand why some doctors or nurses are desperate to go abroad. I remember a volunteer nurse who got raped and almost killed by a bunch of rich punks in their province.

Hello factorial, well, i don't think she will get away that fast because of her age, and her inability to hide that long, she will eventually get caught.

Well, it is sad that you never know who you can trust now a days and people sometimes get so desperate that they will do things you never thought possible. To show she had an accomplice means she might have been put up to it thinking no one would ever suspect them but these days you never really know.

Hello KrauseHome, It's very hard now because any one can be deceiving you. but I am no longer surprise, it's one of the reasons why i stay home most of the time, because people out there are dangerous. I still remember some one who was following me and then i was able to escape from him, that was the last time i went to that Cinema. have a nice day.

Hello Lynboobsy, You Literally have no choice, you choose to trust some one, you'd be in real trouble. It depends if the adult ones are educated or not, uneducated ones tend to be more in criminal activities if they are in the cities, except if most of them are in the suburbs and provinces. just be careful with your belongings. have a nice day.

I haven't seen or read this news but it seems criminals are just about of all ages now. What's sad is that this is a syndicate, as you have mentioned which could mean that either there are more like this or these people are just forced to do this crime against their will. Well, actually poverty is one good enough reason that could really push a person to this edge. Syndicate or no syndicate, some criminals can just be born instantly, given the circumstance, the need to survive. It's just a pity that while some people are overly rich and wealthy, many of them are voted public servants, not much help is given and no effective solution is presented for this problem. Anyway, I just hope and pray that crimes like this will start decreasing until it actually stops.

Hello Choybel, It happened here in manila, it's sad that even nurse and doctors will have to watch out for their belongings. there should a secured locker for all medical personel and they can't just put it elsewhere were people can have access to it. but if that old lady is living her life and not in poverty, there's no way she would be endanger of doing this. have a nice day.

Of course. There is no age limit. Even those kids can do the criminal act if they are not taught by the parents or kids that have no parents, because all people who lives here on earth are a sinner, the world is not that perfect.
