Ice cream in a cold weather?

I actually prefer ice cream in cold or rainy weather. My friend and I would go to Dairy Queen after hanging out, or hiking, or swimming, and we'd each get a small ice cream... that's a really fond memory of mine. There's something about ice cream when it's rainy that makes me really happy..it just tastes colder and creamier and more delicious. :)

Hi lynboobsy As far as Ice cream in winters is concerned, I am one who goes for it. I know I have my stupid not-so sensible reasoning - I believe when I can take hot coffee in summers why not ice creams in winters And another one - Iron is used to cut Iron, Diamond is used to cut a Diamond, so cold will cut the cold I told ya, I have insane reasons... and I use them to explain the people who dont understand that I can eat what I love, anytime

For me, I will still eat ice cream regardless of whether it's summer (hot weather) or winter (cold weather). To me, cold feeling to the mouth is different from cold feeling to the body. But of course, I wouldn't go out of my way to buy ice cream on a cold day if I don't really have the urge to eat ice cream at that particular moment. I still pity the ice cream vendor at your neighborhood though; he probably knows he's not going to get many purchases but yet he still goes on knowing that his daily earnings depends very much on the sales........

Hi, I like to eat ice cream in any weather. But in the summer ice cream gives relief from hot. Philippines is the country of typhoon. We suffer from burning hot. Now here is summer. We are sweating and sweating. Ice cream and cold beverages give some relief.

I love eating ice cream and still like eating it even the weather is cold, it doesnt matter to me. I like the cold feeling while eating it during rainy season.

Eating ice cream in cold weather is something I used to do quite a bit. When I was living in the midwest, sometimes I would take the bus to the grocery store. Doing this in the winter was better for ice cream. I love a cold beverage no matter what the season. I no longer eat ice cream due to an allergic condition, but frozen yogurt is just as good if not better. I eat that all year long.

I have heard ice cream along the way... Oh well, anyone can eat ice cream whether the weather is cold. Sometimes, even if it is cold, when you are feeling hot, you deserve to have one. It doesn't mean that when it is cold you can't eat cold ones. you just have to know if you can take the shivering or you don't feel it at all. as long as you want to eat, you can eat it. Noone will force you not to...isn't it?

Yes I still do! We still buy ice cream even if the weather is cold. But we buy it from the ice cream shop. Usually if it's raining outside I have never seen an ice cream vendor yet. And yeah, I think no one will buy from them when it's already raining outside.

I won't eat ice-cream or drink very cold beverages on the cold weather unless I am from a gym or something like that. Our body need to be kept warm during cold weather so I do not see why someone would eat an ice cream when the body is already feeling cold.

I have heard from a pharmacist that it is better to eat ice cream during cold weather than eating it during hot summer. The reason: because if you eat ice cream during hot season there will be an abrupt change in your body temperature. It is also preferable to drink hot coffee during hot season because there will be no abrupt change in body temperature.

A little of ice cream, even during a cold weather is not that bad at all I guess. I'm living in a cold part of our country and there are some occasions where ice cream is served even during the cold weather. Eating too much of this ice cream, even during the hot weather may have some effect on our health. Those who are selling ice cream during the cold weather may find it more difficult to sell. There's one seller in our area that I met. He's selling ice cream from 11:00 A.M to 3:00 P.M and I asked him if he'll sell during the cold weather. The answer is an obvious NO. He replaced it with "puto".

That's one of the misconceptions we have I guess. Do you know that in Snow Time people likes to eat ice cream? The question is, why.. It is because the sugar content in an ice cream is enough to make our body temperature gets hot and that's what they needed in an icy, cold place.

The real pleasure to eat an ice cream comes in the freezing weather, i love to have an ice cream in this type of weather conditions as i enjoy it very much. you dont have to miss an ice cream in any type of weather, it gives you the pleasure and satisfaction like any other thing that you love the most.

I have read somewhere that ice cream actually is good when you have fever or feeling cold as it is mostly calories. Calories produce heat, hence it makes a good body heater. I didn't actually try it on cold weather yet but I believe it makes sense.

We eat ice cream in any kind of weather, although, in truth it never gets very cold here, usually not below 40 F even in the winter months. But I like iced drinks and other cold food any time of the year, rain or shine.

It's not cold here in metro city :( It's not raining here everyday and thu it rains, it only takes half an hour and not too heavy rains as well. It's even more humid after occasional rains since the heat underground releases :xxx I eat ice cream even when I am in my hometown (Baguio City) Let's have some ice cream then

it is quite interesting to eat ice-cream below 0 degree Celsius. The ice-cream won't melt and you get the awesome feeling when you taste it. -Froze-

I can litereally eat icecream in ANY weather. Same goes for cold drinks. The good thing about eating icecream in cold weather is that you don't have to worry about the sun melting it. I usually take it home and eat it there instead of when I buy it.
