Football lovers are seeing everything now this summer break. Messi scoring in all matches he has played for Argentina even a hat-trick against Brazil in New Jersy. Ronaldo yet to find the net even in their 1-0 loss to Germany. Is Messi adding to chance to clinch the BallonO'dor for the fourth time? Who is taking all the attention this summer?

For the first time, Messi showed his talent at the international level for Argentina. His hat trick sealed the win for Argentina against Brazil. Ronaldo unfortunately does not really fire for Portugal as he plays more in a central position while I feel his most effective position is on the flanks. Cheers! ram

Do you think, FIFA are also putting this into consideration for the award of the next BallonO' dor. Messi is becoming favorite to break another record to clinch for the fourth time. What do you say?

I think always FIFA awards should be based on international games and not based on club games. They can have an additional award called as club player of the year or something like that, but to me major awards should be for players who play well at the international awards. For e.g. it is mind boggling for me that Xavi has not won the Ballon D'or till now though he has masterminded both Barcelona and Spain to the biggest wins possible in football!! Cheers! Ram

Messi and Ronalto are both great players. They have their own individual strength. As football is a team game, with such talented players, a good coach will mold the team around that player to take full advantage of his skill and strength. To judge individual players by match results or goals scored is not a perfect way to tell who is better. In the first place, two different players could never be compared.

Messi might be the golden boot winner in both Europe and in Spain but it came of not that great use as they didn't win any silverware. But ronaldo's goals are important because they wont they la liga this year. I would like to remind everyone that last year ronaldo won the golden boot and nobody even cared about talking this topic. Everybody supported messi because his goals were instrumental in barca's la liga success last year. From this point of view ronaldo is having a great chance for the BallonO'don. Who is taking all the attention this summer? the answer is definitely messi.. Why?? he is all over the news. He had a hat-trick against Brazil in an international friendly. He is the transfer columns as the chelsea owner is trying to buy him for 250 mil. So its definitely messi making all the noise this summer

Messi deserve for Ballon D'Or. Even this season, Madrid win the Spain league and Ronaldo become the top scorer, the whole season he perform very superb. May be their performance in Euro and World Club Qualification will show who is deserve for the title of best of this season. as we know Ronaldo, never been as good as when he were on club and now Portugal has lost in first match. as your explanation, Messi has more chance
