Fable goods and bads

The very first fable was the best out of all 3 games of course usually the original is. In the case of Fable 2 and 3 they were mostly just copies of the first one. The missions were really similar. There isn't anymore to do in fable 2 or 3 the only thing cool about the third fable is the fact that the weapons change. That's the only thing I liked about the third one. I enjoyed the first fable and the second one was okay but the third fable killed the series. I am curious about the new fable that's coming out though. Fable the journey is going to be for the xbox kinect so it should be interesting. Hopefully it is a completely different look at the series.

I didn't play the first one but my boyfriend did and that is why he got Fable 2. At first I didn't want to play it but I loved Fable 2 and I was really excited when the third one came out. I think you are right when you say the third killed the series. I was able to beat the game and then play it again evil and beat it just as fast. I feel like I need to go back and play the first because my boyfriend said that was the best as well.

If you get the first one make sure it is Fable: The Lost Chapters. It's like double as long as the regulare first one. The first one is kind of short if you don't get The Lost Chapters.

I agree first was best, I got disappointed when I completed the game too quickly, I think it should have been longer

They did actually make it longer with Fable: The Lost Chapters. It's the first one plus a whole nother half. It doubles the lenght of the story line.

I got sucked into the hype of this game, but after playing it I was not impressed. The only role playing game I liked on the new consoles is Oblivion, Skyrim, and Fallout. Bethesda really knows how to make great games.

I really loved the first Fable, because it had the most solid story, imo. Of course it didn't look as good, and you didn't have as many options for collecting rent, or changing clothes, or making money, but it really and truly seemed to be better than the second or third. I haven't beaten the second yet or played much of the third, but I can definitely say that I don't really like the third that much. As for the second fable, I like it...but it's really average, very generic. I just watched the trailer for Journey and I don't know how I feel about it; apparently it doesn't have any heroes? so it's all about...some person in Albion who isn't a hero? LOL I don't know, we'll see. I doubt it'll be bad, but I'm afraid it'll be generic too.
