So, what do women want in men?

It depends on the woman of course. Yet there are some common things that women want in men. They want their men to be loving , caring, handsome, humorous, family oriented,loyal and intelligent. They also want their men to provide them social security and emotional safety. Good hygiene, ability to perform in bed etc are also expected in men. I can't think beyond this being in a man's frame.
Can you just tell me what exactly women want in men? Though it's one of the most frequently and commonly discussed matter, you will never get bored of talking about these stuff.

I think this is a duplicate but my answer is the same:
We want men to be men, bumps on logs need not apply. We do not want to raise someone else's child; you had a mother for that. We seek to be equally yoked with someone who works with us instead of against us. We want a man who is most beautiful on the inside where it matters most. Our man must not only listen to us, but actually hear what we have to say and then acknowledge us. Just be a generally nice guy with as few vises as possible. Pickup after yourself, lower the toilet seat, don't tinkle on the floor and seat and then leave it for someone else to clean up. Share in the housework, cooking, cleaning, ironing, etc. Take interest in and help care for the kids and pets. Share everything, including the bills; communicate, communicate, communicate.
We don't ask much except for you to be yourself and respectfully include us in your life. Easy, right?

roberten, that sounds simple when said. Men think these things inside home are meant for you women. That's why they don't do them. But they don't allow you to do work meant for men outside home, right?
Why calculate small things when you are in a beautiful relationship?
When there is love, there can't be calculations..

Oh Amen Robert, this is one area I think I never would have found, the slob factor. My husband is wonderful but he is a slob. I fight a losing battle when I try to make him see that if I didn't do the things for him that I do that he would have to do them for himself. He cooks and takes clothes to get washed but the little things he does or doesn't do irritate me.
Like he will buy something, open it and leave the wrapper for me to throw away or put into the recycles. Or he will shave and little tiny hairs are left in the sink. Or he will hang his clothes on the chair in the bedroom for me to hang up. He uses the top of the fridge as an office for bills until I put them away where they belong. Even when he had a break off from work he didn't do as much cleaning as me. That's not what I mind so much as when he leaves something undone that if I wasn't here he would have to do it or get someone to do it. I'll never get him to live like that I guess. It annoys me.

I did figure out some wants of women. And you can always improve your knowledge, lol especially when women are too difficult to understand. women don't convey the messages straight many times.

Well building on everything you listed, so I do not repeat anything I'll refer back to your list.
All women are different and here is what I required in my life time partner. Not a criminal, had to have common sense, be of above average intelligence and challenge my intellect meaning of the same i.q. as myself, a good vocabulary, love all animals, non hunter. Possible vegetarian. I got my wish in all aspects. This is synonymous with intelligence in my book.
Unique to me, I looked for a certain body type. Tall with broad shoulders and a few other unique features. I also got my wish. I basically hit the jackpot.

Did you in fact know that there has recently been a large study. The study actually was that women where asked to describe there perfect man. Over 90% of the women asked in the survey in actual fact simply described a woman!

everything you said are what basically what women want in men. in my case, I want him also to be God fearing, understanding, able to let each other or encourage each other to grow together and separately from one another, and no vices...as much as possible..plus healthy in mind, body, and spirit. ahaha I hope that not too much to ask.

Anything is not too much if you are blessed to have them. So do not restrict yourself with your wants. Just go on asking as much as you can. Aim high, that said be happy with what you get.

That's a great point. If he is your best friend, then all other things will fall in place.
