Are these seeds?

You should be able to see the little brown balls in the center of the plant. Some say this is a palm plant and others say it is a yucca plant. These seeds blow all over the place. I just went out and swept my drive way again because there were these brown balls all over it again. There are millions in my yard. I swept a bunch up and filled a trash bag. Seems like a lot of seeds from just a few plants. Your thoughts?

hi pointlessquestions wow if those are seeds there's sure a ton of them.I am not sure if they are or not? That looks more like a palm than a yucca plant however. could be seeds.my its so good to be back on mylot with a rebuilt computer and new to me monitor. have been off for weeks as my computer shorted out and fried a lot of its parts. my son has rebuilt it from scratch plus got me a new to me used monitor. so am back in business again.

I was so worried about you Hatley! I laid awake worrying about you until I learned it was your computer. I was relieved it wasn't your health. I don't know Auntie... it's hard and sharp. It poked me when I touched the end of the leaf.. it's like a cactus. It does look like a palm to me, then someone said Yuka plant and I looked them up online and they looked like it. It's just these balls are all over the place. They must fall out of the center and get blown by the wind. I looked deep at them and the balls seem to be part of the plants... they are all like that.

Sweet Gum Seed Pods - These are the seed pods from the sweet gum tree.
I hope this works this time. Geez, myLot has been screwing up today! Yucca seeds are not round or prickly. They sound like sweet gum tree seed pods. I'm wondering if you have both the yucca plants and a sweet gum tree that has deposited some of those seed pods in the yucca plants where they got stuck. No plant can create THAT many seeds! And, as you describe them as about an inch across, they sound more like pods than seeds. Do they look like this photo I posted? (I can't tell from your photo, they're too small.)
