So bad...suddenly I FORGOT my brother in law NAME....

Last week i was in my hometown. My brother in law is fishing in a pond in front of my parents house. His phone rang many times but he didn't know. I wanted to call him to let him know that he had phone calls but suddenly i forgot his name. I told myself...hmmm what is his name? Unfortunately there are many people who stand near there heard my talk and they reminded me that his name is Long. One woman laughed and told me: Oh, you are so bad, you don't remember your brother in law's name, so bad...
I was embarrassed a bit because i really don't know why i temporarily forgot his name.
Have you ever got the same situation? suddenly you forget someone's name...

hi,
that was really funny,sometimes i also forgot the names of my in-laws especially in the first we met them,but gradually i had memorized their names but it took how many days before,sometimes when i am telling a story including my in-laws and suddenly forget the name i will just say the brother of the wife of our brother.LOL.

Yeah, why not?
That usually happens when I'm not close with someone or I don't get to talk to the person as much as the rest. I'm bad at remembering names and I'm even bad at recalling their faces!
I think that's normal since you're not always in your hometown in the first place. I think it would be bad if you forgot the name of your sister or brother though!

No, i can't forget my sister and my brother name's because i lived in may parents house 17 years, spent my childhood with them.
I just know my brother in law in Dec last year, and i don't meet him regularly. Meeting him, i can count on my hand only. that's why i suddenly forget his name...however is is embarrassing situation...

hihihi, in fact it is not the first time i do forget someone's name. I used to forget my friend name since long long time i meet him back...i remember his face but could not remember his name...
However in this case, he is my brother in law. so that i was embarrassed...

That is really embarrassing.
That also happened to me yesterday.A client came to visit me but I can't remember her name.We just talk about business and afterward we left.When she was gone, her name just pop up in my mind lol.
