And God did say - "you shalt have a tiny pecker.

If you believe in god and i told you that god came to me in a vision and told me he did not exist, is this not proof of his non existance? who better to believe in the non existance of god than god?

But if god came to you it is a proof that he is exist :) I think the "god" is every think the scientist didn't fond an answer to.. Like i think more than 3,000 years ago people believed that the sun is the god..

"But if god came to you it is a proof that he is exist :)" But surely that would make god a liar? I laugh at the sungod theory. why would you revere the largest planet in the solar system?

It is like the Philosophical question: "Can god create a stone he can't lift?" But this is an easier one, cause you can be only dreaming that god said he ain't real. And about the sun, i agree with owlwings and the sun is very important to all living creatures at earth, but what i meant to say is that before the Physicists found that the sun is a Fire Start, people thought that it is god. And by the way, to day when some one is walking for a lot of hours on the desert, like the great Moses, and he said he saw "A burning bush" talking to him, like god, we will all gonna say that he is crazy Delusional and probably received a sunstroke

If you told me that God came to you in a vision and told you that He didn't exist, I would tell you that I mistrust your visions; if He came to me in a vision and said the same thing, I would consider it to be a metaphysical conundrum, rather than proof or otherwise of His existence (I actually have several other salient reasons for believing in his existence, so, for me it would be an invitation to rethink my conception of 'existence').

i would love to know your other reasons for believing in his existence. God is a conundrum for me. rather like the existence of aliens, i want to believe but i have no hard evidence.

I'm not sure about listening to dreams like that because a lot of times dreams are subconscious thoughts that come out when we're sleeping. I remember I was watching a movie one time about the devil or somebody being posessed and something they said really stuck out to me. One of the characters said that if the devil exists, then god must also exist. Hearing that really put things in perspective for me because recently I've had a few doubts regarding religion and my beliefs. But now when I question things, I just remind myself of what the movie said.

Very true. the bible quotes both god and satan so if you believe in one you must acknowledge the other.

Hello ajk11 it would ultimately depend on one's definition of god.If you define god is a living breathing entity who has a family like us,then he does not exist. But I think god is everything,we are also a part of 'it',Whole universe, anything that is existing inside or outside it constitute god.So I don't think he is kind or anything,he doesn't have any emotions.

We always feel some unknown powers surrounding us. Some times, you think, Some unknow powers make it happened. Some times, you want but some unknown things oppose to be happened. Scientist also belives in this. This unknown power is nothing but God as said by religion vetrans.
