fascination about this place? 
When I find a new topic its usually closed and only has five replies?? The best answer is always useless. Not to mention all the tons of spam on this site. People dont even reply to the actual question. It takes a lot of work on this site. Just dont have this kind of time. Again, why do people like this place? Am I missing something?

I do not normally use Yahoo Answers, but it has come up in searches that I have done when trying to find information on one thing or another. I have never found the information there helpful (sometimes I have not even found anything even remotely resembling what I was searching for and wondered why it would come up in the search results, especially so close to the top

Wow, guess I am not the only one then. I dont understand this site at all and dont see the fascination with it. I heard you can get great traffic from them but I dont see how with all that spam. Then again, you said their searches come up at the top? Perhaps this is the secret.

I would much rather be here where I can get good relevant responses and get good advice. =) I am not a big fan of yahoo answers, I like it here way better!

Same here! If they get some good moderators, it might stand a chance. No matter, never leaving mylot though.

My thoughts exactly! It was a good idea to begin but guess it just got away from them. I dont know what kind of moderators they hire or if they even have any but they definitely are NOT doing their jobs. Good thing we have mylot huh?
