Yesterday we were talking about the final match about the Euro in the office. We were surprised that Italy lost the game as 0:4 and even it didn't have a goal. At this moment a colleague said:"Why not no Brazil this time?"

Brazil did not get to play in Euro 2012. Is the re - Brazil did not get to play in Euro 2012. Is the reason they host the 2014 WC?
Not just Brazil was not there, where is Argentina, Chile, Paraguay, Uruguay, USA, Costa Rica....? Things have not been the same since the last World Cup. People are also wondering about South Korea, Japan and Iran. It used to be teams from all over the world. Wait, did they change the name already? It is not World Cup anymore? Confusing...

Your colleague must have failed his/her geography test. Even if a person is not the least interested in soccer, seeing the name Euro would have given them an idea that this is a tournament for the European countries.

Your colleague my have mixed up Euro Cup with World Cup. For those who only follow soccer tournaments casually, it's easy enough to miss certain details. Or he/she might think that Brazil is in Europe???
