Last night, we were at our balcony, talking and just chatting, me, my brother, sister in law and the kids.. our kids were playing as it was a bit early...
then my nephew, 3 years old was playing too when he suddenly cried out that someone is out there, he was pointing at the backside part of the house where my brother keep his fighting c*cks.. but it was dark at that side and a possible intruder is out of the choice too as it was a dead end and no one can go over the fence. My nephew was so scared as he was shaking, he keep on hugging my brother since he was that scared. He said he saw some guy in green!
My cousin checked and no one was there. My sister in law then said that happened twice as last monday night my nephew saw someone again, that same guy in green! It was so creepy knowing some ghost might be at our home!! 
My daughter also had this experience in our bathroom, the shower curtain i put was a bit too short so when you shower you could see our legs...then one time we both were outside the bathroom with the door open when she cried out, mommy who is inside, i saw some feet! i just told her to stop, it was just your imagination as i do not like her to get creeped out as i was also scared lol..
i just put these things at the back of my mind and i hope nothing else will happen.

Oh my,as I was reading your post,my hair is rising up,lol! I did experience some paranormal at the last house we rented and I was surprised to know that almost all of us in the family experienced it. It was just lately that we all reveal the "sitings" with each other,haha!
We all felt it at that house but kept it to ourselves,lol! My dad said he saaw the spoon rising up in the air so he didn't tell us as it sounds unbelievable,haha! My brother said he saw a lady in a white dress coming down from our stairs in a slow motion,oh my! And he ran away fast,haha! And to my experience,it was a child hiding in a cabinet where I saw its feet in a glance and when I cheked it,thinking that it was my son,there's no one there,waaaa!!!
Our pastor said it's devil and sometimes just all in our mind. Our mind sometimes play imaginations beyond our control especially when we are afraid. He told us just to say,I am with the Lord and I am not afraid with you,and it will all go away.
I can't deny myself that I also feel scared at times but I have to be strong and show my kids and tell them that it doesn't exist,hehe,though I felt them,waaa!!!

That is why i do not like renting a house! New houses are ok but houses being rented which are old can be creepy..that is why when we rented last year i make it a point i feel at ease with the house, no secret doors, no secret passages!
When i was reading your story now i got the goosebumps too!

We will also start to have our own house built as well..and i am taking some precautions, we actually believe in praying over the place and blessing it..so no lost souls will stay there..

Haha,yeah,you are right about rented houses my friend but we have no choice but to rent,lol! We still don't have a house of our own but we plan to start building it hopefully this year and I hope there's no more paranormal activity in that place,haha!

They say that kids are more sensitive when it comes to paranormal activities. It is really scary since it's them who are experiencing it. We come to the impression that our child could get hurt by those things and we don't want our children to get hurt or get scared a lot as well. I would advise to just not to mind them. I think you did the right thing when you told your daughter that it is just her imagination so she will not be scared anymore. Don't try to interact or provoke them, some says that they gets stronger when we try to interact with them. :)

Yes i did just that because i do not want her to get scared, if i would provoke it more, i know she will end up a lot more scared than she already is. So what we did at home as put a lot more music on, more laughter, more playing so the kids wont think about it.. and we keep the tv on more.. just so no one would think about it.

yes, it is a common belief that kids are sensitive with paranormal activities and they are the innocent ones.
So, we should always tell our kids not to be scared with those things and should not inject in their minds that spirits and ghosts are real and scary.

Uh uh, that's really creepy.
Well, ask your sis in law if they ever watched some ghost story or any creepy story with a green guy.
but the green guy I know is Hulk and The Grinch- not sure what does your nephew saw looks like.
But seriously maybe the little boy had some bad dreams with previously watched scary movie- so, just investigate more.

Well for one i tried asking my nephew is it is really a guy, my hubby even joked about it but he pretty scared and does not want to go at the backside of the house... plus he does not know how hulk nor the grinch is! lol

those elements are everywhere but not all of us can see nor feel them. i also had an experience about the same, in my previous work place. it was lunch time and all office staff is out except me, coz i have to finish the labels of the items to be shipped out by 1:00 pm. as i was working, i heard someone calling me s/he said "psst" behind the door but no one is there. to feel not so scared i stayed focus on my work so i can get out of the office a.s.a.p

that was creepy, often times at home i would like hear someone calling me.. especially when my husband is not at home and i would wait for him... but then i would just dismiss it and would say my mind is just playing games with me..
but yes i do believe spirits are out there.. and it is up to us on how to handle it as long as they are not hurting us physically.

Jazel, I would like to say you a thing is probably you all have a belief that kinda ghost exits and you all very often tell ghost stories to the youngers. As a result, youngers always remain under a potential threats of ghosts. In my childhood, grandma and all would tell ghost stories and we youngers would never dare to go outside in dark alone. Now I dont believe these are but our wrong perceptions. Stay well

Actually, to get this straight, i am not one who often tell my kids ghost stories, i would rather let them watch netgeo..so do not assume i tell them ghost stories.

My aunt used to have a haunted house where we would see the shower curtains moving, hear voices, things moving and just creepy feelings. I was so young though I didn't realise why I was feeling scared being in the back room by myself. I used to walk down the hall, stand in the room for a few seconds and then run back. Turns out the house was built on a monastery!
Not sure what you believe but they say you can use a sage stick to clear your house of unwanted spirits and negative energies if you want to try that :)

i do not know where i could get a sage stick here but i have seen people do that on television, an episode of a haunting in discovery channel, the paranormal lady did use sage and burn it all over the house to remove negative energies..

They say kids sense this much more than adults. I would check the history of the house.

What a creepy experience. I had experiences like that too. My cousin and I were busy watching the movie "2012" when all of a sudden we both a shadow figure near the stairs. It is basically impossible to happen since we are the only ones in the house. We were so terrified that we decided to stop watching the movie and went to bed early with the lights on, of course.

I have had experience like those . I remember going to river one after noon with my bf , when we leaving it was about 6 o clock . We were walking we pass a man that was smoking but I never see him and my bf say he walk right beside me . When I stop and look back I saw a man coming toward use we stared to run like crazy to the main road. I have so much story of those things , I try not to think about it lol

That is very scary. Kids are more prone to see spirits and ghosts. As adults we stop believing in such things whereas kids are more open. I would be cautious with this situation. I don't like the thought of ghosts and such. I dated someone once who swears ghosts use to contact him all of the time until he learned how to block them out. He was always very freaked out about it when we talked about it and he really did not like to discuss it. He would get a wild look in his eyes and start acting rather paranoid. He did not like to watch movies or tv shows about ghosts and such either. My Grandma swore that she and my Grandpa saw ghosts several times in their lifetimes. Her stories were always very true sounding. My Daddy also experienced ghost lights at the old home the family lived in. He said that in the dark of night when everyone had gone to bed you could see lights coming down the driveway. They lived in an isolated area and there was no traffic. When anyone would get up to check to see who was coming to see them the lights would disappear. My Grandma also confirmed this as did my aunt. Rather creepy. I hope you don't have anymore situations.

I believe that the mother nature is angry with you people... you have some fighting birds at your backyard and also you people seem to be wasting lots of time and water in the shower...
That has angered mother nature somehow....
Now you should do perform some holy rituals at your place! Go find one priest who can do all those - and then of course you have to .... (

What you are talking of is certainly related to spirits, ghosts, the unseen stuff in the sense not all can see or feel
I have seen many of them, there are 2 ghosts that live on a tree in our back yard.
They never harmed us
