Amazon Shopping

I have always enjoyed buying products online. Amazon hasn't charged sales tax and when products are the same price in the local stores I end up saving money by not paying sales tax. That will soon end when Amazon starts charging sales tax to everyone in California. Will you still shop on Amazon? Will you look for other places to shop? I know I'll be looking, as what really bothers me is that sales tax will only come to my city until December. Next year it will all go to just 2 cities in California where the buildings are located. It sure helps the 2 cities, but I don't live anywhere near them.

I know I love not paying sales tax. But yes, I will still shop with Amazon because I like what I can find through their website and I have not driven since 2009, so shopping through Amazon is awesome. Where do you live? I live in the Central Valley, middle of California.

I'm in Southern California not far from Los Angeles. Shopping online does save on time and I don't drive either. I walk, have my husband take me or take the bus to get around. Thanks for posting.

The taxes don't really bother me as anytime I buy something (except from an individual) it's charged. I like Amazon, especially since I've been earning gift certificates there with searching, surveys, etc. Besides that, it's very convenient and with gas so high it saves me a few dollars. I especially enjoy getting stuff delivered to me when we're knee-deep in snow and I can stay in my warm house! The selection and convenience of Amazon far outweighs the few disadvantages--at least, so far!

I do think Amazon is convenient like ordering from anywhere online that ships fast. Somebody mentioned the site your talking about yesterday and I'm hoping to start earning there today. I should have been working on the site regularly before. Thanks for posting.

In Canada we have a 13% sales tax on everything Canadian. We don't get charged if we buy American, or from any other country besides Canada, but we get charged if we order from Amazon.ca. Of course if we shop Amazon.com we pay in USD instead of CAD. I have a ton of gift cads for.com that I will be using in the very near future.

Wow, that is a high sales tax and I think mine is high. Parts of California are 10%, which really adds up fast. If I lived in Canada, then I'd really have something to complain about as no sales tax here for food. Thanks for posting.

In fact you have to know that Amazon in US provides the best price around all the Amazons in the world. I am from China. I even tried to buy some products from US Amazon. I had compared to the price from China Amazon. Even it is still less expensive including the international shipment charge. I love China

I have heard several people mention that Amazon in the United States charges less. There is no dispute about that statement. Thanks for posting.
