Are you waiting for that "something much better??

I just saw a status update on Facebook from my close friend and it really hits me. It says that "God will never take anything away from you without the intention of replacing it with something much better." For my friend, it was a different meaning as she related it with relationships. But I do have a different meaning to it...it's about my life. And indeed I am still waiting for that something much better with all this negative things that happen. But above all, I am still thankful. I did not lose hope. And I do have faith. How about you?? Happy Mylotting!!

It is very seldom that something much better just happens by itself. You are lucky sometimes and have it bestowed upon you. However, if you want something better, the most logical way is to start working towards it. Something much better usually refers to having more needs met more satisfyingly.

Still, if it's not meant for you even though you have work for it then you will never achieve it. Many people tried their luck but failed because it wasn't meant for them. Hence, it doesn't mean that you won't do anything. Life is like a game....you definitely need to play with it... Happy mylotting!!!

Well, I think God indeed have a plan for everyone of us here, it is something we should not know until it is the right time. Meantime, we must do our best to achieve our goals and not lose faith, it is very important to have faith if anything else fails, hope that you and I that are waiting for that special something will appear soon in our life. Amen.

I am actually waiting patiently. I do believe that it will really come in the right time. And I believe that there's a right time for everything. It may not be now but soon. Hopefully it will be so soon...and yours too! Happy mylotting!!!

we must always hope for the best, that is all we have in life. So many of us are depressed and that is not a good thing.

I do easily get depress by these things and I really hate it...but I am trying my very best not too. Its the least I could as to live life to the fullest. It's not good to be living with agony just because you are waiting for something. At least we need to have faith. Have a good day!

Hiq Smurfysmurf, I'm not religious but I believe that there is a force guiding us and I believe in afterlife too. So I have this hope you speak about. It's too hard to bear the hardship of this life without a hope that there is "something better' or "much better" ahead. But I doubt that some God is waiting out there to serve us a special gift. We have to make a hard work to earn it and maybe it's better like this. Because if you reach this better thing, you would be proud of yourself.

Indeed, we should definitely work hard for it. We should do something to achieve that much better things.... Let's just say that those people who don't do anything are just so do lucky that even though they just sit there on the side, they achieve their goals. And that's where destiny comes... Happy mylotting!!!

What a load of codswallop! Replace it with something better? What's God going to replace my husband's degenerating brain with what, exactly? What's going to be better than what he had? Because, as it is, he can't walk, his memory is rubbish, and his dementia is getting worse. I'd like to know exactly what your smiley face friend thinks is going to be 'better' than having a working brain and being able to walk and take care of himself. Go and ask her, for all of us who are full-time carers for the seriously disabled, exactly what she thinks is going to be 'better' than what they have had taken away.

Hi there Kojigirl, In lieu of being positive, I think people are just trying to look on the bright side...as what me and my friend just look on things. We did try to focus ourselves on what's ahead of us not knowing what is coming...but whatever it is though bad or good...still, we need to embrace it and life must go on. I'm sorry to hear about your experience. But hopefully, there is a brighter side to that. Have a great day.

Hi there Jricky, Thanks to do. I don't really want to give up my dream because if I do, I don't know if I will be able to enjoy my life the way I am enjoying it now. Like you, I am counting down to my next few days at work...and yeah, I am heading on that greener pasture. I just hope things will turn out really well. Hope all is well.

I think that the statement can be applied in different situations and can be given different meanings depending on the situation. In my opinion, God does not take anything away from us. He gave us what we deserve and He knows what is best for us. For me, it is us who sometimes do not show importance for what God has given us and sometimes we really tend to ask for more. Contentment is always an issue. I remember a story about a guy who was tasked to find the most beautiful flower in the wild. At the beginning of his search, he found a very beautiful flower but thought that there might be some other out there that would surpassed the beauty of that one. So what he did is to continue his search until he realized that no other flower would be as much beautiful like the one he has seen before so he returned to take the first flower he saw. Unfortunately, when he reached the place, the flower was no longer there. Someone has already taken it. Sometimes, this story can really happen to us. There are times that we already have the best in our hands but we just let it slip away. I am not sure if I answered your question right but I really hope that helps. Have a nice day ahead.

Hi there! That is indeed a perfect example for us to realized things and get over to something about slipping up. We tend to look for something better but we end up being a failure because we just slip that opportunity away. I mean, we do have a lot of opportunities and it's for us to decide on what are we going to do about that. On the other hand, I still believe in destiny. Happy mylotting!!!
