I am having a problem opening this site since morning. It keeps saying: iWriter is not compatible with your country at this time. What should I understand by this? Is it the 'early morning' time that they are referring to or is it that INDIANS are banned? I have some earnings that they need to pay me but that they can do only after I reach the agreed limit. I have already received payments for my earlier contributions. Has any other Indian here experienced this?

I have sent a message to brad callen team demanding for a reason. I've not got any reply until now. Guys please create more threads about this issue in different forums. Please fight this issue, don't let it go silently.

I was able to log in a couple of minutes back. But now the same error screen appeared again. I guess it might be a technical glitch. Brad will look in to this for sure :) I hope every thing will be on track in the next couple of hours

Hi Guys, this is Malay from India. Me too have been facing the same problem. I am equally tensed and worried like you all but my point is even if IWriter have banned India and Pakistan, there should have intimations from Iwriter in this regard. However, they are yet to respond. So, for the time being, can't it be treated as a Software glitch or some other technical problem? After all, the interest is ours and so I feel there is no point in hurling abuses on Callen and his men when they are yet to respond. Let us first know the truth and then proceed accordingly as the situation demands.

Brad Callen is a great guy who does not have to steal your $10 or $100. He makes thousands of dollars every month. So relax, you will definitely receive your payment. As for not allowing Indians to work, I think it is his site. He can change the rules when he wants. All you can do is send him a REQUEST. Hope he understands that all people in the world are equal and continues to allow you to write. I am no advocate of Brad. I am just another Indian who writes at iWriter.

Hello all iWriter writers, You can contact Brad Callen and the rest of the iWriter team at "http://www.bradcallen.com/support/" I have sent him 3 messages already. Unless we send them meaningful messages and we need to make them realize in a decent, ethical way that what they have done is unjust and unfair. We do not need to be rash but unless we do not protest and unless thousands of writers from both countries write to them, they will not do anything. So, it is my request to iWriter writers to get in touch with Brand and his team, and hopefully get them to make the site accessible to us again. Regards.

You should be able to access Brad Callen's site. I posted the link, please try again. Brad's site is separate from iWriter.com so you should be able to open it. I'm not sure, but I think that's the only way to contact him and his team. http://www.bradcallen.com/support

I struggled through yesterday and wrote an article which took me almost 3 hours to finish it. That approval is still pending as also some dollars which are to my credit. They cannot do this. I first thought that I was the only one as I had written something harsh to someone who had rejected my article which had no errors. But it seems that Indians are being taken for a ride. While on the subject, I just wanted to know what guarantee is there that the rejected articles are not used?

Hello iWriter writers, Is any one getting the following error when trying to open iWriter.com? "Forbidden You don't have permission to access / on this server." I have more than $200 lying in my account, which they are supposed to pay me today because my payment day is every Tuesday. I hope they resolve this issue and let all the people work on the site. Regards.

Those from Kenya, Hungary, Ukraine, Pakistan, Litvia, Malaysia, Czech can no longer write for iwriter coz of some cheating issues. The ban on INDIANS is lifted..cheers.!!!

Ban on India has been lifted no doubt but what about those honest workers from countries who have now been banned. And what happens to articles written for requesters from these countries? Not fair really. Brad Callen should tackle spammers singly and not en-mass. There could be so many spammers from other countries as well who have been spared the axe!

ya..u r absolutely right..there are only a few spammers and punishing everyone is not fair at all..

The same thing happened a few years back for Helium too.I was a member there and had had some dollars to my credit. But I had not reached 25.One fine day they just decided to close it.I am a member here in iwriter but have not had the time to write much.Hope they have the grace to send your hard earned money. But, unless they decide to send it themselves I feel there is no point taking up any case against these writing sites. We could do nothing in Helium or associated content too. AC at least had the grace to settle our payments and then stop future payment for Indian writers.

However,I also wish to add that I would not mind joining the protest.Only thing is we can do it with less expectation. However, if at least you get your earnings it is some saving grace.

That is a very unfair thing ; they have no right to use our articles but who can prevent them? Ethical behaviour comes from within.Copy cats never change out of school too.

That's the point kala. They could have settled everybody's outstandings and then given notice about this. I have initiated proceedings to the best of my ability about which I have mentioned in boxes above. I was happy with iWriter although some of them ruthlessly rejected articles. I had brought this to the notice of Brad Callen and he used to react in some way but now I think he too is hand in glove with these requesters. Nothing can stop them from using these articles that have been rejected for which we have got zero dollars.

At first I was confused, because I have "ywriter" and I thought, "this is a writing tool, one doesn't get paid" but now I see it is a different site. I hope it doesn't shut down before you get paid, that would totally stink...

Probably because of several representations from pro actives like myself, the ban for Indians is lifted but not for some other countries. It is not fair to en-mass block countries. It should be on the basis of individuals. I have moved this matter and hope to get relief for these countries as well.

This was not a glitch as others had pointed out but a reconsideration may be after strong protests from the likes of pro-actives like me!. The ban was there for Indians too, initially. Right?

If you have written for requesters from countries who have now been banned I wonder how they will tackle this. Will have to wait and see. Have already asked for clarifications.

its says Iwriter is not compatible at this time in India, what is that suppose to mean, that they are allotting some time limit for each country doesnt make much sense to me. What worries me most is why they are doing this, i am sure some of the writers in Iwriter are Indians and are hard working people. Why do they have to ban a particular country. This is not fair and according to your experience there is no notice. This should be taken seriously, please keep this forum updates as much as possible

Hello there. I am from Pakistan and I have been working for iWriter from last 6 months. Last month I faced a similar problem but I changed my broadband so I got access to the site once again. However, this time it is different and I think they have banned the site, maybe in India and Pakistan. I am wondering why they did so because we have really been working very hard and honestly. They also owe me some amount. I am sure I will not get that.

I actually thought I was the only one and now I know it is for the 2 countries. We must take it up seriously as they are doing it without giving notice. They are robbing us of our earnings. You can take a screen shot of their page that tells you that you are not compatible with iwriter and post it wherever you want to take the complaint to. Good Luck.

Hello Hashim, I have already sent a ticket to the iWriter team and I have also been getting this error for a few hours. They have not replied yet. I hope it is not blocked again because I have quite a lot of dollars lying in my account. From where are you by the way? By name you seem to be a Muslim. Are you from Pakistan? Regards.

The best way to react to this is to post this issue in the iWriter thread in the Warrior Forum and create a lot of noise around it. They should at least have informed writers that they are doing this. They should also have told the writers about what happens to the money in the accounts. And what about buyers who have money in their accounts on iWriter! Looks like Brad Callen is a plain old online crook and thief.

If you too are a writer on 1writer you need to quickly take a screen shot of that page that tells you that your country is not compatible and this proof could be attached to the representations that you might want to make.

We can take this opportunity to bring to the notice of those concerned regarding how unfair this site is when rejecting articles. What guarantee is there that these rejected articles are not used?
• India
11 Jul 12
If you are a member of the Warrior Forum, it's time to start making noise in his WSO thread http://www.warriorforum.com/warrior-special-offers-forum/446377-iwriter-com-only-1-25-article-1-hour-turnaround-articles-ebooks-rewrites.html After all, his writers and customers should know that dealing with iWriter simply means dealing with unpredictability. There's no guarantee that your money is safe regardless or whether you are a writer or a buyer.

11 Jul 12
This is very unfair. They can't do this without even informing us before. I had so many dollars left in iwriter. These people use Indians work until they get popularity. Once they have enough recognition they say Indians are over crowded and block us. Guys please share the link of forums and sites where we can protest this. Please don't let this issue go untouched.

I think this is a technical glitch. I was able to log in a couple of minutes back. Now again the same error occurred. I am sure that Brad is a genuine person, he has paid me with out fail. I think that this will be on track with in couple of hours

Can you still access the site enough to look at the TOS? If they did ban your country they should have updated the TOS, and that's the place to look. I"m hoping it's temporary though!

I cannot login. Even if they decide to ban a country, they must give enough notice and pay all dues. This is wrong and needs to be tackled differently and I will.

Yes, I have the same problem. I am a premium writer and I have been writing for a year. I submitted an article yesterday night. I get this message from today morning. I have prompt payments every month so far. I received my last payment on 5th of this month for 250$. I have no idea what they mean by, 'at this time'. Let's wait till tonight.
