Before I got married I resigned from work and now I am finding hard to get a job. I send already 20 resumes online and non of them contacted me this time. I do not know if my civil status or my educational achievement. I don't think its my qualification, I think it is because of my civil status. I hope I can a get good job before the end of the month, I hate to short in budget.

There is not a lot out there for jobs right now. Just keep trying and hopefully you will get lucky! That happened to my hubby. He filled out about 50 resumes before he found a job and just took the first one that called him so he could have a job. Now he is continuing to apply to other places cause the job he took wasn't one that he really wanted but needed to take

Good luck finding a job! Have you considered doing something else until you can find a job doing what you want? Maybe you can do something through a temporary agency? It is always difficult during this time of year to find something, but keep trying!

Hmmm... what positions are you trying out? It couldn't all be because of your status. I don't think so. Even airlines accept married flight attendants if they really qualify. Lemme know maybe I can help. Also, it's also good to note that you might need to beautify your resume to make it look outstanding. You see, companies receive thousands of applications daily. Many HR people simply scan through them. It's worth the effort to give your resume a certain look that will attract the screener's eyes. That's the least that you can do applying online. Remember, job application is a package and it starts with your resume. :)

a pleasant day jaderamirez, with reference to your topic, it is really hard to be short in budget. however, while waiting for your turn to have a new job offline, why not concentrate more on online earnings. hence, in that way, you can somehow cover up some of your financial needs. and, you can also put on your credential that you are working as a freelancer online marketer, who knows this might add up to your skills. but, still, goodluck in your job hunting.

No your civil status is not the question now a days in seeking job offline. There are various reasons specially from Philippines, if you are from the college that not in the list of good one, your performance being students, your course, your capacity and if you don't have any referral on specific company. Tha's a reality now in offline seeking.

It is really hard to find a job nowadays, it is not about your civil status. i am sure that most companies just did not find something that can fit you in your organization.

I think that this is a problem with a lot of people at the moment, because so many companies are in trouble and this means that they just can't afford to employ as many people as they might have done in the past. More of my friends right now are unemployed than they have ever been in the past, and this is one of the reasons that I am so happy that I have managed to make money online; because I at least know that I am not going to run out of money, and I am always going to have enough to be able to pay my bills at the end of the month.

The world is undergoing several bouts of economic crisis. Some of it are on the news, while most happens in developing countries like Philippines. I do not think it is your civil status that is hindering you from getting a job. Unless of course if what you are applying for is a job which places high discrimination in married people. You can also take consideration of the your employment gap. Most employers nowadays are looking into it. The shorter the employment gap is, the better. So, good luck. Don't give up.

I do not think it is because of your civil status. It is just hard finding a job these days so I do not blame you for having a hard time. A friend of mine who graduated in our university from an honors course is also having difficulty finding a job. It is not us who is the problem. I think the economy is having a problem since it cannot provide jobs for its own country people. So do not worry, it is not your fault. continue looking for jobs though. Good luck, jade.
