my rating has dropped

hello mylotters,
i have noticed that my rating has dropped yesterday it was 7 and now its a 6 so was has it dropped down?. Also does having a lower rating actually mean anything?.

MyLot recalculate things periodically. You will probably notice that your earnings have dropped a few cents too (it varies from person to person). Several people have noticed a difference today, so one assumes that they ran the calculation program again to tidy up after the big crash.
The 'star' value (MyLot Reputation) and the earnings algorithm are both affected by the Discussion Rating System, so a lower star value may also mean lower earnings.

My rating dropped yesterday as well and I'm not sure why. I haven't really posted anything that would have offended anyone or would have caused them to give me negative ratings so it doesn't really make any sense to me either. I don't know whether or not it really affects us having a lower rating but it might. You can get your rating back up though by giving good posts to people and trying to give positive ratings.

i am the same im not really aware of any negative comments i have recieved so i cant see why my rating has dropped.
