How you define a good discussion ?

In my opinion, a good discussion must be interesting, fresh, and educating. But rarely we can create that kind of discussion. What do u think ? Your definition of good discussion? GBU

I agree that a good discussion topic stimulates interest. It's thought provoking and enticing to many readers. However, though, it can also be subjective. It depends on the interest and perspective of the readers. One topic maybe a good one to you and not to me. And another may interest me but not you. G'day!

A doos discussion is thought-provoking, a bit controversial (like there is proper chance for both sides' to give valid arguments), refreshing and educated, as you said, exciting and close the the debating members' knowlesge and interests.

If many users are engaged in a discussion, then it's a sign of a good discussion as many can relate to it.
