I wanted long dresses too, but I don't buy... coz I feel like it won't look good on me. But most of the time my eyes usually check out all those cute and classy long dresses and skirts =)

I always have loved long skirts too...I would have fit just fine out on the prairie or "down south" (weren't those dresses gorgous!). But being short, they just looked kind of silly on me. In high school when I was slim, I worn a few but of course was made fun of by others, which didn't bother me, I wore them anyway, but later in life...put on a few pounds and now, only 20 lbs over weight, but being short and little heavy, I really look bad in them! Still love them tho and keep trying to get my grand daughters to wear one every now and then... at holidays mostly but so far, other than the 6you that asked for a "real" pilgrims dress (that she wore to play in one day and didn't wear on T-day!) can't get the interest going!

I tought the same thing...that they wouldn't look good on me but I tried a long skirt on and I instantly fell in love with the way it looked

Same here, Coffeebreak, because I feel I am too short for long skirts and dresses... but I am so tempted to fit one to check out if I'll look good on it.

I don't have any maxi dress but I want to buy one! I thought I would look lower (I only have 1.63 m) but the truth is that I never experienced any! How is it possible?! Until I am ashamed to admit!I changed my mind because I have very thin legs and the maxi dress seem a great option for me!

long skirts would make you look taller and slimmer if it's the right model for you. I'm not really tall either...actually I'm 1.68 so it's not a big difference between us. try out a dress with a waist higher than your actual one

I love long dresses, especially maxi dresses. I buy a lot of these in plain and basic colors. Maxi dresses are comfortable. Plus, I can wear them anywhere like in malls and beaches and parties. Another good thing about long dresses and maxi dresses are that they look chic.

Lately I am also on that craze.
I always check for long skirts, long dress made of soft, pure cotton fabric.
I like wearing long dresses, I feel more comfortable with it especially when it's so soft and flowing with the wind

I wear sari, blouse woven from pure cotton, they are made in my city, known as Sambalpuri sari, no doubt costly but fast color, very comfortable; more over they last long..

I love long dresses too. I call these dresses maxi dresses. They just look so pretty! I wear them to school too :) It is very trendy right now and I love the fact that I do not need to wax my legs anymore since the dress is so long hahaha. happy mylotting.

Yep, it's probably a phaze you're going through. I've gone through many phazes myself where I would like to stick to a certain style of clothes.
One day, you'll be tired of long dresses. Then you'll want to show your legs and invest in razors again.
Life is full of interesting cycles.
