I have tears in my eyes literally right now while I'm readying the story of Ashley from Rancho Cucamonga, CA she shed a massive 156 lbs while doing the ABC's Extreme Makeover: Weight Loss Edition. As a person who's having problems with her weight and have a love of food I feel her. But what sets us apart is that she knows the problem but nobody wanted to help her. She has a feisty Italian mother, three unsupportive sisters and absent, drug addict father. Her sisters are thin so they don't support her even if she has pleaded them to help her on her weight lose. Poor girl at least she found help from the show and now she's looking better. Hopefully she'll continue on her successful journey and be the best person that she can be.

wow that was inspiring just looking at her from the start is hopeless but she prove that she can do it and fight for it. I am also concern after her weight loss what happen to her excess skin and how long did she endured it before she achieve her goal

Though I can admit that I've never seen Extreme Makeover: Weight Loss Edition, I can say that the contestants and people that have been brave enough to televise their weight loss journeys in these types of shows really have been an inspiration to me. You see, I've been struggling with my own weight since I was a teenager. Though I haven't been able to get to where I really want to be yet, I know that it is something I will be able to achieve eventually.

Wow! That's a huge weight loss and I'm happy for her. I myself have multiple problems and over the past year, had resorted to food for comfort. Now, I'm at my heaviest at 175 pounds. I'm not happy with the way I look and since I celebrated my 39th birthday yesterday, made a birthday resolution to slowly shed off the pounds. Cannot force my body to lose all excess pounds in a day when I gained them over the past months. Besides, drastic dieting will eventually make me binge on food that will make me grow bigger. For now, slowly but surely will be my mantra.
