Animals Experiments:Is it fair the animals to pay for whims and human evolution?

only recently, I had full knowledge of the animals massacre! Was lost respect for these creatures that we continue to say they "they don't think" to justify our attitudes. it's a illogical reasoning, because if everything else works just like humans, Why the brain does not work like ours?! Because we enslave animals for our benefit without decent?!I can not describe my revolt feeling: animals imprisoned and abused every day, so we can wear makeup, creams, perfume, technology, surgeries, realizing consequence of an auto accident ( and repeat, over and over again in the same animal!), burn treatment ( that animals are burned purpose)medication, etc Animals can not choose your destination and they suffer at the hands of men pitilessly!

As much as I would like to empathize with you on the matter, we actually do the same when we pass poor people and helpless people instead of helping them. When we don't give the right respect for our parents and the people around us because we're too busy with our own lives. I know that it's horrible that animals endure these things in our hands, but there are a lot of people who are emotionally going through life without us every noticing it. We notice animals, but we don't notice human beings. It's painful to see people loving their pets better than the homeless. Most would dress their pets and care for them even better than they care for their children and community. It's human's attitude and biases that needs to be corrected. But oh well, life isn't perfect and regardless how we patrol or look into things, things will never be what how we want them to be. Have a great Mylot experience ahead!

And by the way, it's not all bad as you think. Animals are put to sleep and monitored before, during and after the procedures (surgery). Afterall, would you like us to start using people/human beings for testing? Remember that most of these tests are beneficial to all of us in the end.

I liked your argument! This gives a good discussion, no doubt! In first: I understand your reasoning and I agree with some points. The world is not perfect and never will be! If exists evil, cruelty, indifference in humanity , why people would not do worse with the animals? I am attentive to the problem of people and they are well visible in our society! I will focus on the question I posed. You know how the experiments are done? You hear the media talk about it (without being masked and superficial)? You know the conditions under which animals are?and now the ultimate question: can you imagine yourself in their situation?! they live in tiny cages, they can't move, they do not come to light of day, they do not even go outside he site except to suffer, to participate in experiments that don't concern them! I speak on their behalf, because it is an unequal confrontation! They have no defense lawyers, they do not speak the same language to we complain, to curb this situation! But one thing I tell you, I saw some shocking images, and the eyes of these animals can transmit so much of what they're feeling, it's very touching! The worst is that I admit that without them we did not have evolved so much! but it is revolting:we do not have the courage to do for people but we have the courage to do on animals (infants and adults)! Why?! hey have no life as we do not feel the pain? rovided that the good of all justified?! I do not agree! And I think it's time to say enough is enough!

I think you're referring to companies doing illegal stuff. As far as I know (based on plant visits and stuff) most huge companies are careful enough to make sure that animal testing are up to par in terms of safety and no abuse for animals. There are procedures that need be followed for their licenses to be renewed.

I eat a vegan diet and only buy goods with no animal ingredients that haven't been tested on animals. I like a label which says Vegetarian and vegan with no animal testing. If customers refuse to buy goods that have been tested on animals then the producers will change their practice. It is not fair for the animals to be experimented with and hurt. Humans have a choice and experimented animals can't run away.
