Strange "Breaking Bad" Season 5 Premier Scene

Is it just me or did anyone get the beginning to the premier episode of "Breaking Bad" last night? My hubby and I sat in front of the TV and watched the opening scene where a guy that looks like Walt, but with hair and beard, is eating breakfast at Denny's then goes out to the car and opens the trunk. What the heck was that all about? What did that have to do with the story as we left off last season? After the commercials and Program intro, the next scene sort of takes us back to where we should have been. Things made sense then. We enjoyed the rest of the episode. But after the program was over, me and my hubby looked at each other and we both asked, "What was that opening scene about?" Anyone here have any ideas?
