Ebay shopping for slightly used clothes for my little one

I got about 9 pieces of onesies, rompers, and dresses for my little baby from ebay, last night. All for only $29, including shipping. The good thing is these clothes are only slightly used because babies grow so fast. And, the items were bought by the owner from a factory outlet in the US. I certainly believe it was a good buy. And, I used my myLot earnings for that.. so proud!

Sounds like a great deal! I actually sell most of my kids' outgrown clothes on ebay (and I donate some to charities). Making a bit on money motivates me to clean out the kids' closets and I feel good knowing they are going for a reasonable price to someone who actually needs them. I did better with the baby/toddler clothes because they were in GREAT condition--now my boys are a little rougher on their clothes so I can't sell as much, but that's ok! Glad you did so well, and glad you had nice earnings from mylot, too.

Sounds like you are doing great with mylot--and with ebay! Enjoy the clothes! Receiving baby clothing is always fun.

The earnings were not that much, that is why I was overly happy that I was able to get some good stuff with it. That was only 2 months worth of earnings - and it was also my first 2 months here. I want to do more around here moving forward so I can get more stuff from online shopping. Im very excited to receive the package. I think its going to arrive tomorrow. Yes, you're right about how bigger kids are with their clothes. They get it dirtied too bad and we have to wash it hard and often, so it really wears out easily.

I plan to buy more baby stuff with my future earnings. I found good ones like baby gym and educational toys on ebay that are not very expensive. Used stuff are fine with me, so long as it still in good condition.

It sounds like you got a good deal on the lot. Yes, baby clothing is usually in pretty good shape, since infants do grow so quickly. Choosing secondhand makes more sense both from a financial standpoint as well as an ecological one.

From experience, yes, it definitely is a good deal. I also did the same for my first born. Bought her some preloved clothes and stuff, and also sold her slightly used clothes.

I think that eBay is a brilliant website, as it means that you can sell things that you haven't used very much to somebody else who would appreciate it. The good thing about buying baby clothes is that you have so many when your baby is born that he/she doesn't get much of a chance to be able to wear much of it before they grow out of it, so if you find second hand things on the internet then there is every chance that they won't actually have been able to wear the clothes at all. I love using my online earnings to shop, because it's basically meaning that you're getting a lot of the things for free as you never have to touch the money out of your bank account.

Yes, it does feel like I didn't have to spend anything. I actually don't know how to get the money from paypal in cash form, so I think I'll just use the earnings for online purchases like this. However, not all items in ebay can be paid using paypal because of the charges. So, we have to really do a lot of searching for good items.

I tend to try and buy more local and ebay. There are wonderful sites like craigslist, and specialized facebook pages that help with that. Granted I am from the US so it is a bit easier.

I only buy clothes on ebay from local sellers. Im from the Philippines. The items that I purchased were bought by the seller from the US, though. Since they're preloved, the price is much cheaper. I also buy from Facebook online shops for brand new clothes and most of them are made in Bangkok, Thailand. They have pretty good quality items at a very good price.

Hi, that was an excellent idea to buy clothes on ebay or anywhere for your baby. It is true that babies grows up fast even in a week, it was from my own experience buying new clothes and i bought it according to the baby growth by week, you know the size and age that are on the cloth label. It went to waste as babies really grow very fast. Another advantage of buying pre love clothes it will save a lot of space on storage and not much of emotion there when you want to give it away.

No emotional strings attached, that's true. With my first child, I also bought preloved clothes and items from a friend. Those were all imported goods from the US and still in very good condition. It was a great bargain, too. When she grow up, I just packed all the clothes that she can no longer wear and gave it to my mom to sell and income goes to her for the effort. I just wanted to clear the closet. Now, after 4 years I got another girl, and sadly I don't have those clothes from my eldest anymore, but I found good ones in ebay. So, im happy.
