Just watched the 'Ten Commandments'. I watched it 23years ago and I watched it again. I'm wondering how did the people before made those gigantic and perfect blocks of stones for the pyramids when they didn't have the technology to help them do so.. There's a lot of bible mysteries but they are miracles at all-where man can't justify them with science because it was God's work. Any bible mystery you've been wondering about?

That was an amazing movie, even though it contained some errors. In the movie, Pharaoh escapes the destruction at the Red Sea and goes back home. However the Bible says that not one of the pursuing Egyptians escaped. Exodus 14:28 Young's Literal Translation (YLT) 28 and the waters turn back, and cover the chariots and the horsemen, even all the force of Pharaoh, who are coming in after them into the sea -- there hath not been left of them even one. Man is very good at building things. So the Egyptians had enough knowledge to build those huge pyramids. There are many other examples of amazing building projects.

To make stone buildings you do need a stone quarry. Hire expert stone masons with good hand tools. Use a hammer and chisel to scribe stone paying attention to the grain of the stone. Like wood, stone does have a grain. After you set up vibrations in the massive stone by continual tapping throw cold water on the scribed line. Like cutting glass it helps to have the stone elevated so that the weight of the stone helps to break and provide a smooth edge to the cut. You don’t cut stones with hand tools unless you really know what you are doing. To learn a skill a master will often share their knowledge with an apprentice slave. Since I’ve shared some knowledge here then I suppose this will earn me the title master bluedoll. – joking God did create mankind in his image and that was a wonderful gift. My bible mystery is when and what will God do next?

@ Bluedoll: Exactly! the pyramids were built thousands of years before devices and machines were created to make these blocks of stones or to push and transfer them. Thanks. There's sense in here. @totallysecret: God is awesome. He has created things that man is desiring to discover.

What makes you think so Totallysecret? Some ideas, arts, skills and methods of the past, I think isohyeoh have been forgotten or perhaps even lost because of the heavy use of technology.

It is written that by that time human already able to create extreme engineering of building. Genesis 11:1-4 " 1 Now the whole world had one language and a common speech. 2 As people moved eastward, they found a plain in Shinar and settled there. 3 They said to each other, “Come, let’s make bricks and bake them thoroughly.” They used brick instead of stone, and tar for mortar. 4 Then they said, “Come, let us build ourselves a city, with a tower that reaches to the heavens, so that we may make a name for ourselves; otherwise we will be scattered over the face of the whole earth.” So it is not surprising when people able to build the pyramid by that time.

I think the tower was replaced by many towers. In my imagination, perhaps a stranger to this planet might ask after looking at all the cities we have on earth, how did they do this? Maybe it was Bob the builder?

"a tower that reaches to the heavens" Yes, man is an an amazing engineer. We can build towers, spaceships, robots, etc. However, we are very poor at building relationships. Look at the world and see how divided it is. Without God, we will never have a united world. "Let thy kingdom come!"
