I read an article about a former North Korean National Guard who defected from the Stalinist Hermit state. He narrated about how people were killed like dogs, children being drowned on purpose and how the whole nation is starving. copy and paste link to read more...

Its amazing how cruelly people can treat other human beings.There needs to be change in North Korea it needs to be a more peaceful and democratic society though i have no idea how this can be achieved but in the past people didn't think the communist regime in Russia would fall so we can have some hope.The only nation that can pressure North Korea into changing with out a bloody war is China as without their support i doubt the North Korean state could survive in the long term.Lets hope as China gets more capitalist it will stop supporting them.
