Just imagine if there were no spectacles or contact lenses invented then what would have happened to the people. Will everybody would have become blind? Would they have survived without lenses? Generally spectacles are inevitable part of our life after 40+. May be people would have left reading after 40+. It would have a negative effect on the sale of books, reading materials, newspapers, magazines etc. What do you think.

Hey, a person's body does change during the course of their lives and that means that the things that they are able to do change. I believe that this is something that is true of vision as well. My vision isn't what it used to be when I was much younger, but that doesn't mean that I would be blind without my glasses. I believe that what happened before people were able to get corrective vision lens they simple compensated for the fact that their vision had changed.

I think human beings would have found some solution to the problem. May be, many people would have had difficulty in doing day-to-day activities. Yet, some kind of device or may be medication would have been developed to tackle the situation.
