While you don't have to limit your reading to just one genre, what's your favorite genre to read? Mine is historical fiction. Oddly enough it wasn't always my favorite though!

History is my favorite, and I enjoy historical fiction also. It may be very enlightening, and sometimes it can be more historical than fiction. For example: a couple of months ago I read a monography about Anne of Austria, the mother of Louis XIV, by Claude Dulong. Reading the description of the events during Fronde I felt, I have read it before. And I really had! "20 years later" by Dumas... I compared, and it was very much alike, almost a copy-paste! Claude Dulong used a lot of archive documents to write the monography but I was excited, that Dumas did actually the same. I like his style very much but I never thought about him like about a 'serious' author before.

Sci Fi City - Sci Fi City
I can never seem to find much in that genre for some reason. Although I think it's because what they classify as fantasy isn't always really fantasy or sci-fi. What books would you recommend?

I traditionally read non-fiction. I generally read business, marketing, Politics, or biographies. I am not a fan of fiction anymore, although I used to read alot of fantasy and crime novels. I love to read. Expanding knowledge is paramount in my life.

I like science fiction, books about vampires, elves and dragons, things of that sort. I have read a series by Terry Goodkind and it is great, if you are into science fiction fantasy then I suggest having a look for his works.
