I have this intriguing question in my mind. If you have a chance to change the present situation of our world. What would you change.? Poverty, War, Crime, Disease, Injustice, Racial Discrimination, Pollution? Do you think government can change our world for better? I wanna know your ideas and opinion my dear friends.:)

I am impressed to John Lennon's Imagine. It is not only a good song, but also it is very meaningful. I wish there would be one country in our planet. So we don't have to worry about the war, profit, politics etc so much. And the world will be much more peaceful since there is only one country. We can go everywhere we like and it is a freedom.
I love China

Hello youless
May I know what is the title of that song? My parents like John Lennon's songs. Actually all his songs are really meaningful... Thanks for your comment..^_^

I can see that the government is working hard now to help alleviate the suffering of its people due to poverty, injustices, degradation of the environemnt. As citizens, I should give my fair share in giving our country and enviroment a fresh start.
I hope that we can do something on the main problem - in the alleviation of poverty.
Thank you

My approach would be to ban all religions. That won't solve every problem, but it would give us a head start on a lot of them. This being such a fantasy thread, I guess I can fantasise along with the rest.

This is kind of a huge topic you have brought up here!
There are a couple ways that I could go here so maybe I can try each.
The first is that Politics is killing the world. Let me put that back in the U.S.A alone. Because nothing changes here then we are hurting so badly in the U.S.A. I don't know if trying to find oil here would ACTUALLY help but isn't it worth a try so that our oil prices are not so high? Also well... I have actually liked a few things that Obama has done like healthcare - I think that he is going the right way but it will be a LONG time before it actually makes any impact for real.
Then I also have issues with politics with .... pretty much the whole system. They will do a lot to help out the "country.." while the rest of us suffer. For instance they could have given us ALL some money in the bank money bail outs, but they decide to help the banks to keep the "economy" going which almost seems like a ghost to me.
That is my political view.
Now the way I would LOVE for the world to change is NOT "religious". We have already gone that way. Religion is not the same AT all as what I mean. But I do not mean that I want everyone to go this way because - that is impossible. What I mean is I want some people to go toward the Lord Jesus Christ. He does change and transform lives better than any living breathing or even moving specimen on this Earth. It is not an easy walk. But this is TRULY how I want the world to change because... part of me does not believe in any positive change, without Him.

Hello echoforever
Thank you for sharing your thoughts here. I appreciate your wonderful words and point of view. Good thing that President Obama has done like healthcare and it is indeed a great help for the people in your country... Of course, we appreciate the governments effort for mankind but we all know that no matter how hard they try it's always be failure. I've just read this text at Jeremiah 10:23 that a man's life is not his own.
Thanks for your political view. Yeah, you're right we want some people to go toward Jesus Christ and his Father.
Thank you and have a great day.^_^

Hi skyandgrassplot
Same with me I'm also wishing to be free from all suffering of all kinds of diseases. We can't put hope on government to have a place free from diseases but I do believe in God's promise a "paradise on earth". I'm inspired by his promise at Revelation 21:4 and Isaiah 33:24.Have a great day and thanks for your comment.:)
