Is there really a logic behind this? Do you believe in one?

Personally I sometimes believe in superstition and sometimes do not. Sometimes I believe that some of the things are true and then sometimes not. Mostly not because I do not believe that doing such events or events happening affect you or other people. Now I mean SUPERSTITION nothing else as events happening DO affect you and others.

Well, I do not really believe in superstitious beliefs but my mom tells me to practice them so I do. She tells me that even though I do not believe in them, I should practice it in case if the belief ends up to be true. Happy mylotting.

I used to believed in them when I was a kid but, of course, it diminishes once I grew up.But,in some situations i used to believe in superstions. For example,i select best date and time for doing any new or good thing. There are many superstitions about numbers in the world.. The number 13 is considered unlucky in almost all countries. In Brazil and Colombia, Friday the 13th is a bad and dangerous day.The number 4 is considered a bad number in Korea. And the number 7 is considered a bad number in Peru. However, 5 and 7 are considered a most holy and lucky number in many countries. Some people believe that all dreams have some meaning. Sometimes, when you are dreaming, you can receive messages about your life or your future. If you dream about your wedding then you need take care because someone will die in your family. The same thing happens when you are dreaming about losing a tooth. However, if you dream that you are dying or taking a shower in clean water, it's a good dream because your life will improve. Another popular superstition is about animals. Some people believe that if a black cat crosses your path it's a bad signal.

Superstition is very interesting. I think it's not wrong to believe in them. But don't you think it's holding you back from the real world? I have believed in superstition myself, it's like an urban legend . In the olden age, these tales are told to scare children from doing bad things. But some still strongly believe that it is true. But now, i tend to believe that if things do happen related to superstition is plainly coincidental.

Hi Axai I do not believe in superstitions at all. Nevetheless, they are very interesting and what is sometimes even more interesting is how some poeple react under their impression. My friend was willing to walk another 500 metres just because a black cat had crossed the road right in front of him. He even told me that once he'd had to back out of a narrow street while driving a truck:)

Hi Alesma. I really think that believing in superstition holds one back from doing something which I believe is a hindrance and creates a fear that is not there, apparently.
