Brazil beat a combating Belarus team 3-1 in their second match at the Olympics. The star of the match for Brazil was the highly talked about superstar Neymar. After Pato opened the scoring for Brazil, Neymar took center stage scoring the second goal from a free kick. He was a constant thorn in the Belarus defense finally his brilliant back pass set up the third goal for Brazil which sealed the win. Belarus really fought hard equalizing at 1-1, and were in the match till the 92nd minute when Brazil scored their third goal. Do you think Brazil will win the Olympic gold? Cheers! Ram

At this level, he is probably the superstar of the tournament. With Spain now out, this makes it good for Brazil. Cheers! Ram

But Neymar committed to his club last year. So he might cost them a lot of money to get him out to Barcelona. Cheers! Ram

No surprises that Neymar is the big star of brazilian soccer nowadays. I only hope that he stays on Santos team until the next World Cup, not only because I'm a Santista fan, but I don't think he is ready to play in Barcelona or Real Madrid.

Just last season he signed a new contract with Santos. So in that sense he should be a very costly property currently. Cheers! Ram

Neymar has been touted as the biggest thing to come from Brazilian soccer but I wasn't convinced then. However after seeing his performances thus far in the tournament, I can now understand the hype that surrounds him. He will go far.

Exactly the same as me. I was also thinking as to what is all this hype about. But his performance here has been an eye-opener. Cheers! Ram

Brazil, with Neymar on fire, is the team to beat t - Brazil, with Neymar on fire, is the team to beat to win the Olympic gold.
When it comes to football, Brazil is always the favorite regardless of it is under 14's or over 50's. It is a small miracle that Brazil has not won the Olympic football gold yet. But this time they have got a very good team, so good that they could even pass off as the senior Seleção. I think Brazil is the team to beat to win the gold.

I think that is the only blemish in their resume if you would like. But you are right they are always in the running. Cheers! Ram

Brazil will definitely win the the Olympic Gold. With Neymar on their team, there's no doubt about it. I love Neymar! His abilities and talents will outstand Ronaldo and Messi (though im rooting for them also). Go team Brazil! Bring home the bacon..

Of course, at Olympics there is no Ronaldo or Messi. So Neymar is the only superstar on the show. And so far he is doing great. Cheers! Ram

I also think like that, Neymar mobile enough to play, because he did not stop running and look for the ball. He managed to bring Brazil to win the match against Belarus. Possible opportunity for Brazil to win the Olympic Gold is now quite large, because of strong candidates | Champion, Spain was eliminated after losing to Honduras. Brazil now living rivals Uruguay and the Great Brinatia.

Yes, Spain has been surprisingly been knocked out. Uruguay could be a tough competitor for the Brazilians for the gold. Cheers! Ram

I haven't watched the match against Belarus, but judging from my impressions after the match against Egypt I have to say that Brazil has a huge chance of finally winning that elusive Olympic title. In fact, after the delightful play they showed in the first half of the match against Egypt I had the impression that no other team from the tournament could stand any chance against a extremely talented Brazilian team, led by the brilliant Neymar but also including a handful of other fantastic players. If the Brazilians play at full capacity and don't relax too early,as they did against the Egyptians, they can win the competition quite easily.

Yes, Neymar was fantastic. Also Hulk was really playing well down the flanks. I think they are serious medal contenders without a doubt. Cheers! Ram

Brazil has a very good chance of winning the Olympics, especially since they have huge talent in the likes of Neymar,Pato,Oscar, all three scored as well today and all of them are young.. I, didn't watch the match though, but Neymar, is immensely talented and has proved it in the previous season and there is no doubt he will be one of the world's best if he moves to Europe. But then again other teams cannot be ruled out, for example Uruguay, they have Luis Suarez, Edinson Cavani, both of them are very experienced players who have showed they are world class.

Neywar was all over Belarus today. His running off the ball was immaculate and it was causing all kinds of problems to Belarus. The final goal scored by Oscar off a pass from Neymar is the goal of the tournament so far. Cheers! Ram
