Do you like free foods in malls? or your shy to get one?

Food tasting is fun. Is it the right term?hehe.. My friends and I had fun when there are free tastes offered to us. But some of them thinks that the free taste foods are not that clean because it was just a free. But it doesn't matter, fun was always there.

Haha, it is a little shy to get free foods in malls by myself. But it doesn't matter if I am with my friends.

Hi Bulastika, i like the free sample of food as well. By doing that way, i am able to sample the new product in the market. Even i can decide whether to buy them or not for my family. Whenever i want to buy some new biscuits or food for my family, i would ask for the sample of that food. If i like it, i will buy it straightaway. I make sure that the food that i buy is like by my family as well. There are times when i buy new food item but my family and myself don't really like the taste of it. Because they don't provide free food sample, so i am unable to know how the food taste like before i buy it.

It's okay to have some especially if it is being offered. This is a promotional strategy of some companies especially with those new products recently introduced in the market. Well, if I like the taste of the food, I would buy some. But we are not required to buy actually. And there is no reason for us to be shy. We are their customers and they get their income from us.

i usually go timid when i am only with myself even if i want to get free foods i can't. opposite of being with friends. when i am with them i don't really care what others would think, i'll just grab some free foods every time i want. :)

I don't mind taking free food samples in malls or supermarkets; I mean at least in the future I'll be sure what to spend my money on. Now if I were to take seconds, well, I'll be shy lol! If I really liked it then I might as well buy the actual product.

i never encounter nor tried any food tasting but i tried drink tasting and noodles in the supermarket area in the mall, though why would i shy to get one if its also my change to taste the food so i know what to avoid and not to avoid if seeing their franchise somewhere else so at least i will not going to buy the food if i dont like the taste at all.

My kids and I live for free food samples - ha ha!!! We are definitely not shy to go get some!! Every week we go to a farmer's market and the vendors who sell fruit have cut up fruit with toothpicks. Well, they are there so you can taste how sweet (or not) their stuff is . . . so we go for it!! And of course we will support these vendors if it's really, really good. Most of the time we can also get roasted peanut and mini donut samples too. The samples are there for you to get . . . they are hoping you will buy their stuff. As long as you don't keep going for seconds, thirds, or more - ha ha - then it's perfectly fine to get your free sample!!

Getting free food is good, but a lot of people don't like it because they feel like they are sort of being pushed to buy stuff. Like you'll have someone come up to you and say "hey, try this sample of a brownie" but if you read between the lines, what they're really saying is "hey eat this sample and then go buy something!" A lot of people feel pressured when getting free food samples.

When I was a kid I used to love eating that free food they would hand out and every time I see those in the stores nowadays I'm urged to go get some but I am shy about it. I don't know why it's just a self conscious thing and I can go without the free food, dunno why I do it but I just do.
