its holiday today here in Cebu because of Cebu chartered day, no work and no school for my kids,its our family bonding, i played with my kids,make fairy tale stories,and we eat together for lunch, i saw their faces more satisfied and happy when we are together always.

yes, i am enjoying telling stories,they are in ages 9,8,7 and 1 year old.they love fairy tales stories.

What does Cebu Chartered Day mean? What happened that made this day a special holiday for your city?
It'd great that you get to spend time with you kids and you had a long weekend. I'm pretty sure they enjoyed your company as well. I can't wait for our long holiday here in my city too!

hello Laydee, Cebu chartered day mean commemorating the founders day of our province here in Cebu Philippines,also this day celebrates 443rd anniversary, Cebu gains its Provincial status since the appointment of Miguel Lopez de Legsapi as governor under the royal decree granted by King Philip of Spain in August 6,1569.
the whole Cebu and its province including the component cities is enjoying the celebration of founding day.

Wow, that sounds so great. It's good to have holidays. We have more time to spend quality time with our family. I am also longing for some holidays. I am working with Koreans and we follow Korean holidays. We'll have one next week and I'm already looking forward on how to spend it. Enjoy the rest of your day!

Wow!That's great!As it is a holiday,you have got time to enjoy with your family.No the same tiring,monotonous works,no school for kids,nothing that may cause stress.We here in India too had enjoyed holiday four days ago.It was Rakshabandhan,a Hindu festival,that day.Our sisters had tied sacred thread on our wrists.We all had special delicacies in our lunch that we had together.Now you are enjoying holiday.Congratulations!Try to make it a memorable day.
