Ghost? Spirits

My son told me his house is haunted.
He asked ma a few days after I got here if I heard it. Heard what? I asked.
The ghost.
The ghost?!
Yea, there's a ghost here.
Really.
Yea. Then he proceeded to tell me about it.
Hmm, really.
He showed me a picture that supposedly was of the ghost but I couldn't see it, so I asked him out of curiosity when was the last tine you saw or heard this ghost. He stated about two weeks ago. Well that was two weeks prior to when I was leaving to come stay with him. The last time he heard any activity was the day it was confirmed that I was moving back here and would be staying with him.
I told my son maybe I scared him away. He just looked at me. I don't believe in so called ghost of people, however I do believe in spirits, good and evil and that they are quite able to take the appearance of a human being.
The bible speaks of spirits and principality, angels and demons and the whole spiritual realm, so I have no doubt that he and his girlfriend saw and heard some type of spirit, but it wasn't a ghost of some person.
So what I'm thinking is with me coming here it was either scared away or sent away. The reason I say that is I accepted Christ as my Savior many many years ago and I believe that God (who is also spirit) protects us from evil spirits and will not allow them to dwell in our homes. When I said my prayers that night I asked God to remove that spirit from my sons home. I've been here now for little over a month and have not seen nor heard anything concerning this "ghost".
Any thoughts or opinions on this lotters. Looking forward to reading comments.

As a Christian, we must acknowledge the existence of ghost and spirit being. Have I see ghost? No. Have I had an experience haunted and hearing ghost? Yes I do.
Feeling their presence when you know it is them is not a good feeling trust me. It just send shivers down our spine and cold sweat running down our forehead thinking what will be next.
But with power of prayer as we strengthen by GOD Holy Spirit, we feel calmer and more brave to encounter the ghost. Not that until we challenge them, but enough strength to say our prayer for protection without being scare. Believe in our Lord, in the name of Jesus Christ the evil will tremble and run away scared.

If you felt it, try to imagine what it feels like when they attack. And it's good to summon angels and good entities to defend you, but if you don't improve yourself, you should quit. Fighting with entities is not for the weack ones. Not talking about demons, where you must have no fear at all.

There are strong ones, but there are some that want to pass, but can't. It's hard, and the worst thing, is that they tend to attack your close ones. That's why i stoped. So, a little warning to everyone, Don't play with forces that you don't know!

I agree with you on one thing, and that's what you said about the difference between ghosts and spirits. I do not believe what people experience are ghosts, as in what goes to Heaven or Hell. The bible does not mention that people can roam back and forth between earth, Hell or Heaven, nor does it say people can get 'stuck' on earth do to trauma. However, I have experienced 'something' many times in my life, so I know something exists. The only thing that makes sense to me is it being demons. Satan loves to throw things at us that makes us question the Bible. He is the master of confusion, and what is more confusing than that?! I believe demons are present on earth to tempt us. I believe they can appear to look like our loved ones to further confuse us. I do believe that they can visit our house, not sure about dwelling. We are told that God will PROTECT us, but that doesn't mean put a barrier around our house so that they can't tempt us. We have heard many voices in this house, experience many freaky things, but no harm has ever been done because He promised it wouldn't. We ignore it and even joke about it, to show that we are not afraid and he will not separate us from the Lord. Things stop happening for awhile and then they start up again, almost as if to see if we have changed our minds.

I also have felt the presence of spirits both good and evil scaring when evil presence is felt nearby. However I have felt God's angels with me, protecting me from harm, especially when I've had to walk thru dark places at night on my way home and there was no other alternative route to take. I always pray when I feel danger lurking and sure enough God will send his angels to walk with me and the fear goes away and no harm comes.

All kids go through stages of believing in ghosts, monsters and such. My kids were forever afraid to be upstairs by themselves when we first moved into our house. I would tell them of course there's a ghost here,the Holy Ghost. God is everywhere and you don't have to be afraid.

Kids have weaker auras and know better than many adults theyr limits. And also see and feel entities, ability that we lose when we grow up because our parents keep telling us that is our imagination and we take that as an answer and program our brain to ignore it.

I hate the though of ghost but I have seen ghost before , I also believe that they take the form of a human , maybe someone that used to know you also . Maybe your spirit is strong , I remember after leaving home for college and I go back home for a weekend after about 3 months . That night everyone in the house heard weird noises in my room , I woke up and everyone else also woken up so I know I was not the only one hearing things .

hi,
when i was kid i have seen sometimes a ghost especially in the province,but that was few only,maybe it was created by my mind that full of imagination,but now i grew up,i didn't see a ghost but the scary on that is i feel them without seeing them.

Hi Ms. Violann!
Every evil spirit departs when they feel the presence of the Almighty God. Every believer carries the presence of God so the evil spirit cannot stay where a christian is. However, most of the christian doesn't realize the power that they have because of Jesus. What is the use of the power of God if we don't know how to use it, right?
So let us confess the power of the Word of GOd, strengthen our faith and wear the full armor of our God.

Ghost, spirit, entity, call them how you want, they are the same thing. There are angels, demons, with all ranks, but there are also souls traped here, elementals and other spiritual entities. Playing with entities is dangerous if you don't know what you're doing. If you pray, you have a stronger and lighter aura and maybe will survive the attacks(if will be any), but you should take care. Anyway, good luck and hope that everything will end well.
