No Edit Option In myLot!

I'm new in here. Just 3 days old. I'm getting accustomed with the environment here and trying to make most of it. The only thing that didn't go down easily with me is the absence of an edit option. You see, once you click the "post response" button, you cannot modify your response if it contains some mistakes. I believe every myLot user also has a Facebook account. Very recently fb added an edit feature. If you post something with mistakes, you can select the edit option and rectify your comment. Don't you feel that myLot should introduce something similar? Or, are you okay with the current system?

Well I don't mind if there's no edit button in mylot as it encourages us to pay more attention on what we post. I do wish though that there is a delete button for your own post because sometimes it can't be avoided that our posts gets doubled due to poor or slow internet connection.

Yes. The double responding error is a real annoying one. If not an edit, but a delete option should be allowed I guess!

We can simply report our double post to the admin and he would delete it [!]
just like edit people can misuse delete option so all we can do is report and the admin would delete it

I didn't know that we can report abuse, i.e., [!] and give a reason that it has been posted twice. Thanks for that information mate.

I passed my driving test in UK where you drive on the left. Then I moved to Italy where you drive on the right. I just had to get used to it as that is how it is done here and there was no point in telling the authorities that driving on the right is wrong or difficult or whatever else.
Many other sites have an edit and/or delete button but when we are using myLot we are not on those other sites and we just have to get used to what happens here.
I am perfectly happy with no edit/delete button. I try to remove all of the typos before I post but sometimes some of them slip past my attention. I'm sure you will get used to how things work on myLot without one too

We get better at making fewer mistakes the longer we stay here. Making a really bad one makes us be more careful and use the 'preview' button before posting too.

I feel you! I really wish mylot has an edit potion even after one has posted his response. There are times I wish I could edit or remove something from my response. The thing is, I sometimes reread my responses, and suddenly there are things I wished I didn't write or what. But there is no way of editing it. And that's too bad for me. I really hope mylot could do something about it. I would really be happy if they decide to put an edit option to the posted responses! I am glad you raised this concern, pal!

here simply can not edit there is no such option.
Just be careful what you upload and what you write because you might offend someone.
These are the rules of the site just be more careful to not edit it.
