If God is capable of preventing evil, why does He still allow it to happen?

Simply asking this question for discussion purposes and not to create frictions amongst different point of views and beliefs. Would it be better if God simply removed all the evils of the world for us to lived-in? or would it be great if we are living in a sin-free world if God does not allow evil to exists? If God has the power over evil, then why He allow it to happen?

Of course,God can disallow evil to happen and turn the world into a heaven, but what would we do then.It is He who has given us a conscience and he expects us to use it.If we don't use our conscience, evil would occupy our mind and soul.God has given us hands, legs, eyes, ears and nose. What would happen if we don't use them?We will die.He has given us a conscience as well. Our conscience can discriminate between good and bad.If God does everything for us,then why has he created us as? What is the reason behind our creation?

And yet He has given us the free-will in which we alone can decide on what type of path we wanted to walk at. That would be the greatest gift God had given to all human being.

And because of it, we should also be responsible to the actions that we make. A every action, there is a corresponding opposite actions. And no matter how it is, we should be ready of God's judgement.

Exactly. We are created by Him with a sharp conscience and complete freedom of choice. If we choose the wrong and evil option ignoring our conscience,we will be responsible for spoiling ourselves and sufferings.

He doesn't allow it. People choose to sin. Just like how we're told by our parents not to things but we still do it, and blame them if we get in trouble. Example: We have always been told that we should study well and not be in a rush for relationships because we're not ready yet. But what do we do? We still do what we want.. When we get pregnant or impregnate our girlfriend, then we run back or regret that we're not yet ready for it. We were already told. But still, we do it anyways. But like our parents (well some) God would always welcome us back and give up a lift when we truly deserve it. We shouldn't demand help because we are doing all the mistakes. He wants us to be humble enough to accept our mistakes and do out best to make our life better and he will assist us (sometimes we don't notice it). Thus we learn from our mistakes. Have a great MylOt experience ahead!

Hi, thanks for the response. The good thing about this, is that He is always there when we needed His help. Though many of us chooses the wrong path, He always listens if we ask for help. I think that's the beauty of why God give us free will.

If someone believe in God then they believe that world isn't a destination place, it's a testing place, then in the afterlife, the good and evil will be separated, so good people will enjoy eternal life. So God allow evil on earth as a test for human as a filter who deserved to be in a better place and who isn't. But if someone don't believe in God, then non of this make sense because to them, the only life that exist is on this earth. The next question is why do God need to test us? and the answer is because he create us, like when human create a car or a electronics, then we, as creator of those things, test it weather it's fully functional or not. Again, for people who don't believe in God this thing don't make sense, because human just accidentally exist on this planet.

In my point of view, I think God could change all of us so that we cannot sin. In this case, our free will will also be removed. If we are programmed to do only right, then we don't have the free will to choose between good and evil. If he do this, then we humans are simply with the same level are all other animals in the world. This is what separates us from other animals - free-will. A free-will to either obey or disobey Him which makes our relationship with Him, the most important of all his creation.

Hi, You are right. I also think that why God has created bad things? Why he allows evil things to happen? No one can understands this. But I think god is as a scientist has created universe. Living and non living things, And set some rules. He also created good and bad things. He has created positive and negative things and observing the world. He doesn't control on our mind and soul. He is observing us and when we violate the rules or we go on wrong path, he gives us chance to improve us. But if we go in wrong direction he punishes us. And if we perform better he gives reward to us. But I am also confused about the All mighty.

I am still hovering over this assumption. But I don't know, if it is possible then why the GOD is not taking any step towards this to at least minimize the Evil factor so that most of the innocent people can live a happy life.

I think you can view my points in my responses below. Anyway thanks for responding and good to know that there are other like me who wanted to ask a question without no different correct or wrong answer simply because we don't have the capacity to understand God's plans for us.

He allows it because if he didn't then Satan would be right that God is a dictator by not giving us a choice. Soon that will be over and it will be clear to all and in the new world we won't want to do evil as we will certainly know what happens when evil reigns.

Because the god you are talking about was invented by men and exists only in the minds of men not in the real world. So that god has no control apart from the control that the person imaging him gives him
